We were on top but didn't make the most of our chances and with our next fixture being Man City I told the players assertively that it was a let-off and we need to play better against better opposition. All but two players turned green and looked fired up, Szczesny and Podoslki were angry. After the game, Papadopolous went to the media furious with my team talks saying he was sick of being singled out and victimised by me. Firstly, I've never singled him out for criticism - I don't ever use individual team talks - and secondly he also had a green reaction to the team talk when I did it. Is this a bug? Has it happened to others? I've since told him I'll work on my team talks to try and build his morale back up but he's really not a player I want to lose down the line because of a bad relationship for something I don't perceive to have done!
