fsquid
Can someone lead me down the right path? I create rules for the "World Continent" and then create a competition but can't select "World" as the continent? What I'm trying to do is take the winner of every country's league and place them in a knockout tourney with the top 35 nations getting byes (221 teams in total). I've set that up in the Continental Rules tab under "Nations". What would be my next step because nothing shows up when I click "Cups". fsquid
ok, I figured it out, but now it says that the number of teams in the Final must be divisible by "2". I've done the math and I get down to 2 teams for the final which is the 8th round. Anyone else run into that problem?
Kenco
Are you sure you have it set as 1 match, 0 teams entering at this stage and 2 teams qualifying from the semi final round? edit: Since you are doing the straightforward thing of byes in the first round and all in for the second, the editor normally works out all the rounds for you as default. ObjectiverR
Looks like it should be pretty straight forward to set up. Round 1 would have 186 teams introduced and 93 matches Round 2 would have 35 teams introduced and 64 matches Round 3...8 would have 0 teams introduced and 32, 16, 8, 4, 2, 1 matches
fsquid
correct, I leave that "teams that start in this round" box unchecked for rounds 3-8. Do I have to specify the number of matches in each round? I thought that was detailing if it was a 1 or 2 legged affair that line.
ObjectiverR
Number of matches are certainly the number of matches in that round regardless of 1 or 2 legged affair. (64 teams would still play 32 matches even if they were two legged games).
