I'm getting really fed up with throw ins

It seems no matter what in important games at some point I'll take a throw in near my area and the player taking it will just throw it to a opposition player who takes it down makes one pass that splits my team and they score.

Now this year I've really enjoyed how challenging the game is the top teams get high points totals every year so 85ish or higher now to this season i have lost two games due to throw ins that for no reason has gone to an unmarked opposition player.

I had hoped this would have been fixed in the last patch with the majority of other ME issue's alas it's still haunting me I've tried a few things but nothing works it seems that if a player doesn't get into space the player will just throw it to the nearest opposition player instead. Any ideas on how to stop this from happening in the future apart from buying a long throw specialist and just hoping he launches the ball as far upfield as he can?

I posted a thread saying the exact same thing. Theres nothing you can do. I tried setting to short throws and still 50% of the time they choose to throw it long over my players heads to the opposition. Its ridiculous.

The only upside about this is that it seems to happen to the AI as well.
