01everton
I have been looking round for a new laptop recently and i came across one i liked. The spec is below: * AMD Turion X2 Dual Core Mobile Processor * (2.0 GHz, 400 MHz FSB, 1 MB Cache) * Genuine Windows Vista ® Home Premium * 3 GB Memory * 250 GB Hard Drive I just wanted to know if someone had a laptop of similar pedigree and would say how many leagues it runs? If not a rough estimate would be grateful Also does anyone know if there is much difference between 2gb ram and 3gb ram and if so by how much, in terms of processing speed and number of leagues that can be loaded. Thanks
medo24
I'm no expert but i'd think you could run all leagues at a decent speed but if you just want all the main leagues then that laptop would do that with no problems.
01everton
anyone else know
Neji
I certainly wouldn't go running all leagues. It may be ok for a season but it will slow down quite dramitically. I'd say you could quite happily run 15-20 leagues on it.
01everton
would that be on a large database or not? also do you mean 15-20 leagues as playable or a few as playable and some as viewable only?
Neji
Yeah, large would do fine, I would imagine. I'd run the ones which you plan to/would manage in playable and others view only.
01everton
Below are the number of leagues i was thinking of running in playable mode: England - 4 leagues Spain - 2 Portugal - 2 Holland - 2 Italy - 2 And as viewable only: France - 2 Russia - 1 Germany - 2 Brazil - 1 Argentina - 1 Usa - 1 Would i be able to run these leagues at good speed? And would it be possible to run more leagues at a good speed?
Neji
I would think you'd be fine with that setup but Id probably stop at those, if it was me. The speed of the game is relative to what you think is fast/slow. I run the same setup except that I drop Portugals second league and also drop Russia.
