DaveGLeeds Posted December 15, 2012 Share Posted December 15, 2012 It would be good if you could get your scouts to feed into the DOF, so you could get them looking for the type of player you want, then flag it to the DOF to sign them once they've been found. Having to wait until each window to get him to do his thang is a bit irritating as he's basically only earning his wage about 5 months out of 12. Agreed Also with regard to the OPs question, I think the DoF does use a rough estimate of your squad strength when making signings, he doesnt just pluck them out of thin air. Just obviously he doesn't use the same considerations as a human manager (for example is seems DoFs often want to have two top quality keepers, rather than 1 and a promising backup).
