Walcott\'s Wonderkids
Week ending Sunday 10th August Middlesbrough have declared their interest in Elfdog, but Watford have again reiterated that he is not for sale. Elfdog says he is flattered by the interest in him. Inter Milan have made a bid of £1.4m for Ulfinus Chaoconov.
Walcott\'s Wonderkids
Italy U23s v Kyrgyzstan U23s Tues 12th Aug: Olympic Games 2008 Group Stage Pre Match 10 superkids start the game, in fact the starting 11 is identical to the last game. The other 3 fit superkids are on the bench, along with El Loco Bartinho for the 1st time this tournament. Captain is Alan. My Opinion Italy need to win to probably qualify for the next round, so it looks like it could b 3 defeats out of 3 for Kyrgyzstan. 3 minutes in and Ryan receives a yellow card. After a quiet first 20 minutes, a flurry of activity. First Alan has a shot well saved by the Italian keeper before Pazzini dazzles his way past 2 Kyrgyzstani defenders before firing straight at Lui. Italy take the lead after 32 minutes, a cross from the left is put away by the oncoming striker. 1-0. Azeryk heads just wide 2 minutes later. Pazzini heads just over for Italy in injury time at the end of the half. HT: Italy U23s 1 v 0 Kyrgyzstan U23s Half Time Basically its all about pride now for Kyrgyzstan. The previous two games the opposition have scored 2 minutes into the 2nd half - this game it was just 13 seconds! Cerci, dribbling forward from KO and firing a shot from 25 yards into the net. 2-0. Azeryk has two attempts to score, but both go straight at the keeper. Lovely short sharp passing move between Ryan, Robson, Benj and Al-Dahash results in Al-Dahash whipping in a cross from the left. Azeryk has his shot saved but the rebound falls to Alan who taps in from 2 yards. 2-1, 62 minutes gone. Mark Lawrenson is having a laugh, as soon as the goal goes in, off goes Alan and on comes Freealdinho to replace him. Double subsitution after 72 minute, with Halali + Bartinho coming on, with Al-Dahash and a non-superkid coming off. Halali hits a free kick straight at the keeper. FT: Italy U23s 2 v 1 Kyrgyzstan U23s Match Overview Player Stats So a 3rd defeat for Kyrgyzstan put some respect his earnt back in this game. It will have proved a good stepping stone for these superkids before the World Cup 2010 and lets not forget all of these superkids will be 23 by 2012 so should be able to play at the next Olympics as well. LibLibertine
What a poor month that was for me! Maybe I knew I was being watched by thousands (roughly ) of people and felt the pressure. Only one good point in the matches I played was the clearance of the line. Suprised I was dropped for the last match though, surely there were worse players than me on the pitch! elf_30
I wouldnt mind playing for Boro, but that is the problem, would I actually get to play or would it be more bench time for me. I just want to go somewhere that I will play. We didnt get the gold or even place but we did make it there. World Cup here we come and one final shot at the gold next time. Lui has a cold and will out for a few days. Davo is wanted by Reading. Chaoconov is currently unsettled by the transfer speculation surrounding him. Chaoconov played a small part in helping Anderlecht get past the Champs League 3rd Qual Round, coming on as a sub before being subbed 12 minutes later. Luke Swinson has joined Tottenham in the Championship on a 5 month loan deal. Notts Forest and Leicester have both had 5 month loan offers accepted by Chelsea for Hermandinho. Humphrey Koppers played 90 minutes of the European Super Cup for Chelsea, but AC Milan beat Chelsea 2-1. Bought by Livorno. They know they'll get a lot more for me a little later! Poor managing = defeat to Spain. Walcott\'s Wonderkids
Player Cam Match Report Sat 6th Sept: Notts Forest (17th) v (8th) Swansea - league match Hermandinho starts at centre back for Notts Forest in a 4-2-3-1 formation. Freealdinho starts upfront for Swansea in what could be a very interesting battle. Swansea make an impressive start, scoring after 6 minutes when the Notts Forest keeper couldn't keep hold of the first shot. 0-1. Swansea take a 2 goal lead 5 minutes later when a cross from the left is headed in from 10 yards. 0-2. 6 minutes later and Notts Forest are back in the game, Donnelly glancing in a freekick from the elft. 1-2. 28 minutes gone and the scores are level, Tyson turning in Commons cross from the left. 2-2. Hermandinho was caught in 2 minds as to whether to stick with his man or close down the oncoming one. He decides to stick with his original man but then sees the ball being curled into the far post from 20 yards. 2-3. HT: Notts Forest 2 v 3 Swansea Half Time Stats A quality 1st half. Both Hermandinho and Freealdinho finish the half with ratings of 7, both winning the majority of their headers - can't be directly up against each other much then! Hermandinho has made several interceptions and Freealdinho has yet to have a shot. Hermandinho picks up a yellow card for holding onto a shirt. Freealdinho forces a good save from the Notts Forest keeper from a header, outjumping Hermandinho in the process. Swansea hit the crossbar after 65 minutes. Hermandinho injures Freealdinho after a strong, but legal, challenge in the Notts Forest penalty area. Freealdinho continues after some physio attention. Swansea score again after a fabulous run from teh halfway line by the left winger, dribbling all the way into the box before firing past the keeper. 2-4. Freealdinho hits the crossbar after a left foot shot from the edge of area. Freealdinho is subbed with 3 minutes to go. FT: Notts Forest 2 v 4 Swansea Full Time Notts Forest Stats Full Time Swansea Stats Not a bad game for Hermandinho, but the defeat probably cost him a 7 rating. Good game for Freealdinho. TeeWee
Hmm, not bad. In general, it seems that Swansea was a bit too strong for Notts, but a fairly good game for Hermandinho himself. Walcott\'s Wonderkids
Kyrgyzstan v China Weds 10th Sept: World Cup 2010 Asian Qualifying 2nd Round Group Stage Pre Match 10 of the superkids start for Kyrgyzstan. Halali + Bartinho are on the bench. Captain is Alan and key man is Salman Al-Dahash. My Opinion I had to chuckle at the TV opinion, who believes Kyrgyzstan's home form as been woeful recently so goes for China. eh.. wait a second, Kyrgyzstan are unbeaten at home for 2 years!! Although missing a few players, Kyrgyzstan should still win this. China have the best chances of the 1st 20 minutes, first heading into the side netting and then heading over the bar. Taphouse picks up a yellow card. Al-Dahash slides in at the back post but only hits the post. China take the lead after 39 minutes, a 20 yard shot with a slight deflection that goes in off the post. 0-1. HT: Kyrgyzstan 0 v 1 China Half Time Probably a slightly deserved lead for Kyrgyzstan. Kyrgyzstan beat China 4-2 at their place, so as long they don't concede a couple more goals, they will remain top at the end of the game. 2 minutes into the 2nd half and Lui makes a stunning save, diving to his left and tipping the ball onto the bar. 59 minutes gone and Robson feeeds the ball through to Al-Dahash who slots the ball underneath the oncoming Chinese keeper. 1-1. Kyrgyzstan then make a double substitution, with Freealdinho coming off and Halali coming on. Switch to 4-2-1-2-1. 5 minutes later and China retake the lad. Ryan commits a foul on the edge of the area and from the freekick Birkinaldo is outjumped as the header from teh striker goes in. 1-2. Robson is then subbed for a striker. That striker hits the bar within 2 mintues of coming on and Benj's follow up shot is blocked on the line. Alan scores an offside goal. Oh dear, from the freekick China go up the other end and blast another goal past Lui. 1-3. Alan grabs one back with 5 minutes to go, after a great ball into the box from deep from Al-Dahash. 2-3. Kyrgyzstan now change to a 4-2-4 formation. Davo picks up a yellow card with a mintue to go. Alan has a chance to equalise but the keeper saves well. Halali picks up a yellow for holding onto a player's shirt. FT: Kyrgyzstan 2 v 3 China Match Overview Player Stats A disappointing result, but as long as they win their remaining 2 games, Kyrgyzstan will qualify for the next round. Walcott\'s Wonderkids
UAE v Turkmenistan Weds 10th Sept: World Cup 2010 Asian Qualifying 2nd Round Group Stage Pre Match 10 of the superkids start this game. Key man is Selim Atas and captain is Luke Swinson. On the subs bench is De Santiago, Chaoconov + Cook. Only Ali Obeid did not make the match day squad. My Opinion UAE are not a good team and it should be a comfortable victory, despite being away from home. In the 2nd minute, Gonzalez is fed through and scores. 0-1. UAE equalise after 16 minutes, Mendieta heading a clearance only directly up in the air. UAE get the ball when it comes back to earth and after initially hitting the crossbar, the follow up is tapped in. 1-1. The rest of the half is quiet. HT: UAE 1 v 1 Turkmenistan Half Time Stats Atas hits a shot over the bar from a tight angle. 72 minutes gone and Chaoconov replaces Rossini. 81 minutes gone and Mendieta is subbed. FT: UAE 1 v 1 Turkmenistan Match Overview Player Stats A bore draw. MOM goes to Swinson.

Walcott\'s Wonderkids
Sign Up Announcement For the past few days I've been suffering from chickenpox (bloody little kids disease, why couldn't I have had it years ago ). Anyway, its steadily been getting worse for the last couple of days and I've decided today that I'm leaving uni and going back home to the folks for a few days. This means that updates for this sign up will be dramatically reduced over the next few days. I'll take my disc and the saved game home with me, but I can't promise how many updates I will be able to do. Apologies for this, as you can imagine though, it certainly isn't an ideal situation for me either. As soon as I'm feeling better then I will crack on with more regular updates again, as I certainly want to carry on with the sign up.

Scott1990
Kyrgyzstan got a much easier draw. China is pretty bad and N. Korea and Vietnam are easy wins. We have one of the hardest Asian teams in Saudi Arabia. UAE is no bargain either, maybe on the same level as China.
