Walcott\'s Wonderkids
Player Cam Match Report Sun 31st Jan: Parma (19th) v (5th) AC Milan – League Match Hermandinho starts for AC Milan. Mick Bubble starts on the bench. It appears Koppers is being frozen out of action at AC Milan at the moment. Gilardino almost opens the scoring after 18 minutes after dribbling half the length of the pitch before firing at the keeper. 22 minutes gone and Daniel Carvalho sends a Parma freekick into his own net. 1-0. Just as the game approaches halftime it looks as if AC Milan have scored a belter from 30 yards, only to see the flag go up as Gilardino is ruled offside. HT: Parma 1 v 0 AC Milan Half Time Stats AC Milan pile on the pressure in the second half but can’t find a way through. Hermandinho is subbed after 81 minutes, with Mick Bubble coming on as AC Milan move to a 4-2-4 formation. Walcott\'s Wonderkids
Week ending Sunday 31st January 2010 Ghoolbi Dumats has been criticised for his recent poor form (7-7-7-8-5), which is a tad harsh. However, Dumats has said he has been disappointed with his recent form. In a last minute dash and grab on the transfer market, Marseille (£5.75m) and Cagliari (£7m) have made bids for Ryan. Marseille’s bid is rejected but the bid from Cagliari is accepted. Ryan agrees term with Cagliari, stating that he is looking forward to using their training facilities. The press also believe the opportunity to return to Italy was too good to turn down. Gianfranco Zola has piped up in saying that bringing Ryan to Cagliari could upset the harmony of the team. If I remember correctly, the same sentiment was felt in some quarters of Zaragoza when they first signed him! In another surprise late development, Everton have had a £10.9m bid for Gary McNeil accepted by Real Madrid. Unfortunately time beats Everton as terms are not agreed in time. McNeil currently also has interest from Chelsea, Man Utd, Inter Milan. Marseille, Cagliari and Valencia. Fabio Cannavaro is appointed the new manager of Napoli. Freealdinho has a bruised shin and will be out for a week. Marcus Cook is wanted by Chelsea. Player Cam for February will focus on… Samaras Taraldo at Man Utd. An even first half but there are few clear cut chances for either side until the start of injury time when a shocking backpass by Chelsea puts Aaron Lennon in the clear, but he shoots wide from close range.
