Even closer! We won the league...then lost the Playoff Final.

Suomen Cup - Lost to Hercules in the 5th Round.

Squad - A good squad as I've been saying for the past few seasons now, hopefully the transfer of Tuomas won't be terrible after he rejected our contract.

Finances - Got a balance of £44K which really isn't too good.

Key Players:

Tomi Nyakenen (YP4b) - In the league he scored 14 goals in 15 appearances and got an average rating of 7.70.

Tuomas Lindholm (YP3) - Losing him to Honka who've just won the Veikkausliiga title.

I got worried after match 9 as we were worryingly in 7th but then we kept on climbing and ended up topping the table and winning the Playoff! Finally, at the 9th attempt we are going up!!

Suomen Cup - Managed to make it to the 7th round but we lost 2-0 to IFK Mariehamm.

Squad - We could do with a good backup keeper to come through now and some more midfielders.

Finances - Thank god we got promoted, I don't think the finances would have held out much longer.

Key Players:

Jari Kiviharju (YP7) - 22 appearances 16 goals.

Tomi Nyakanen (YP4b) - Managed to score a goal a game in the league, hopefully he can make the step up.

After the struggle it took to get here, I expected a struggle to stay here, how wrong I was, we were in great form all season and ended up finishing 2nd!

Suomen Cup - Got to the 6th Round again but lost on penalties to TPS.

Squad - We still really need a new keeper as our starting GK is 33 now and has probably 2 or 3 seasons left in him at best.

Finances - We're in the red, but we're not in debt.

Key Players:

Marko Tauriainen (YP6a) - Set a Ykkonen record number of goals scored with 16!

Tomi Nyakanen (YP4b) - He managed to make the step up as with the fierce fight for the lone striker position, he scored 12 goals from AMC.

Special Mention:

Mika Hanninen - He's just about to retire, I tried to get him to reconsider it but he said no, he is 7 years older than the next oldest player and was still playing well aged 37, here he is in 2013 for a comparison; Mika Hanninen 2013

A small decline on last season but nothing major as we still finished 3rd. Although we scored 20 less goals than last season but at least we conceded less as well.

Suomen Cup - Didn't make it past the 4th round losing to Gnistan 3-1.

Squad - We have the new keeper now, at the intake Henri Lehtonen was only rated 2 1/2* but now he's at 5*.

Finances - Finances spiraling deeper into the red.

Key Players:

Joonas Syäjärvi (YP10) - He's had a haircut but in his debut season finished as the player with the highest rating.

Miika Nyberg - Going to be fighting with (YP11a) for the place but Miika got the most PoM awards and was very strong all year.

A great season, a 3-3 draw against 2nd place KuPS on the last day secured promotion, 2 goals coming from (YP12b).

Suomen Cup - We made it al the way to the Semi-Finals! We also set a record for most goals scored in the cup.

Squad - Lost quite a few players this season but managed to pull through, losing our DR next season though.

Finances - Still bad, hopefully Premier Division football will help it next year.

Key Players:

Tomi Nykanen (YP4b)- 21 goals in 30 games, was our top scorer.

Joonas Syäjärvi (YP10) - Another great season, he's still improving and the media says he deserves a Finland call-up, I agree.

I have to show a player....

I only noticed him when he scored 4 goals in a European Championship and the news came through my inbox, he's also a great player with 62 goals in 65 caps.

He started his career at Wolves before moving to Southampton and now Manchester City. This isn't what I find amazing, the most amazing thing is that I have never seen a player come from the town I was born in, live in & currently go to school in as it has a population 10,000 (and most of them are over 75).

And now the first player I ever see come from my home town is one of the best in the world!

We were always around the bottom but managed to survive by 8 points.

Suomen Cup - Got to the Quarter Finals but lost 3-2 aet to FC Jazz.

Liigacup - A new competition for us but we went out at the Group Stage.

Squad - YP12a & YP12b made great debut seasons and it can't be long before our 36 year old GK retires..

Finances - As bad as ever.

Key Players:

Teemu Pasoja - The heart of our defence, probably the best performer this season.

Marko Tauriainen (YP6a) - Our league top scorer with 8 in 26, says a lot.

Got 1 point more than last year and the highest we got to all season was 10th, which is where we finished.

Suomen Cup - Lost 3-1 in the Semi-Finals to Haka.

Liigacup - Lost in the Quarter Final after somehow finishing top of our Group.

Squad - Still ever improving and no players are looking to be sold for once.

Finances - Still going down, sugar daddy please?.

Key Players:

Marko Tauriainen (YP6a) - Top scorer again with 11 league goals, still not really good enough.

Joonas Syäjärvi (YP10) - The first player from Santa Claus to get capped, a great achievement.
