hxp Posted December 28, 2012 Share Posted December 28, 2012 Hi all, I'm a new FM player and i would like to know how height affects players in FM13. I have a nice regen comming through which has good attributes to be a winger but he is 188cm which doesn't seem very suitable for a winger. In real life tall players and short players both have their advantages and disadvantages which go so far that they are more or less suitable for certain positions. You would rarely see a 168cm CB or a 188cm Winger. In general tall players are better at heading (reaching headers, not heading accuracy), Certain GK attributes, Diving Tackles etc. while short players are generally better at agility, balance etc. so how does this translate into FM? :confused: Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

Its still factored into the jumping attribute but its also used by the ME when the player decides if he needs to jump to reach the ball. If he doesn't height is used instead of jumping.
