However, in matches, he never does, unless I think he isn't playing in central defence. Any idea why? I have him set to go forward, and not stay back, so have no idea why he isn't taking them. Never had problems in previous FMs. Try setting your preferred taker as Default. Most likely he is following your instruction to go forward first and therefore ignoring the throw in instruction. I think they said they were only looking at one more proper update build, but they could update in response to anything they see fit ah right ok,i just assumed it would/may be sorted in the next major update as ive been waiting for a fix on this issue since the release of fm13,i have have at least 4 players with excellent long throw attributes and trained with long flat throw and cant take advantage of it,then i come up against teams that are constantly launching throws into my box :0/ same with corners as well for me short ones are ignorned so have just been leaving set pieces to default until a fix is done Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
