Titties Update

Back in action now as we hope to see the titties move to where they belong in the promotion zone and hopefully progressing in the cup competitions too.

So we will start now with a nice home game against QPR, a win by 5 goals or more would take us into 2nd position, so lets just see what we can do.

Bristol City 3 QPR 0

So with an aim of a 5 goal victory the titties come out looking for goals. And it takes only 2 minutes to make it 1-0. Ben Watson plays a pass through the middle to Pisculichi who manages to take it round the keeper and slot into an empty net. And thats not all at this early stage as the titties really go for the huge win. With 7 minutes on the clock Peter Kopteff plays the ball to Routledge at the back post, and Wayne has no problem striking the ball home for 2-0. 10 minutes later and Peter Kopteff goes on one of his incredible runs only for his shot to cannon off the upright, but Pisculichi was on hand to slot home the rebound into an empty net. So only 15 minutes into the game and already 3 goals up, a very good possibility to make it 5 and move into second place. But thats all from the first half.

So into the second half and the look out for more goals is on with the titties firing in shots from all angles. But unfortunately its not to be with the QPR defense strengthening up against the titties attack. And thats all she wrote, despite a top start the titties are held to just 3 goals, still enough to take us into 3rd position. For his 2 goals and outstanding performance Pisculichi is awarded the man of the match award.

So a nice win to start the session and hopefully theres more to come starting with an away game at Hull.

Hull 1 Bristol City 0

So the titties go into this game looking to move closer to the top spot but they find themselves up against a tougher team than they expected. And after only 10 minutes Hull take the lead with the goal coming from ex-titty Michael Keen who strikes from distance. The rest of the first half is pretty much even but neither team is able to find the net.

So onto the second half and the titties need to come back now. The second half is all Hull and the titties are unable to come back into the game at all. Despite only having a few shots the Hul keeper is awarded with the Man of the Match award.

So a dissapointing defeat there which takes us down into 5th place. And now we head to the league cup 2nd round and its Plymouth at home.

League Cup 2nd Round

Bristol City 2 Playmouth 0

So another cup game and another chance to eventually take on the big boys, but for now its Plymouth. The titties are taking shots from everywhere in the first half, but unfortunately very few of these shots are able to find the target. So its goalless at half time.

Into the second half and things look a lot more promising. The shots off target continue until the 78th minute when a long throw in puts Oliviera through on goal and he puts it past the keeper into the bottom corner. Just to cap things off the titties are awarded a penalty 2 minutes into injury time, which Pisculichi slots home to make it 2-0. Current star Kopteff is awarded the man of the match award.

A deserved win there against lower opposition Plymouth takes us into the 3rd round where we will face West Ham away. But for now its back to the league.

Bristol City 2 Crystal Palace 1

This game gets off to a very slow start with only a few shots going in from either team. But with 32 minutes gone a defensive mix up from a free kick allows Crystal Palace to take the lead before half time.

The titties dont give up however and they go out looking for the equalizer. And with 10 minutes gone Steven Fletcher gets brought down in the area and the titties are awarded a penalty with the Crystal Palace man being given his marching orders. Pisculichi steps up and slots home the penalty to bring things level. 15 minutes from the end and substitute Steve Wilson gets the ball in the midfield area and advances on the goal before slotting home from distance. 2-1 tittes a great comeback. Pisculichi does enough to secure the man of the match award.

That win takes us up to 3rd place, so far it looks like we should be there or thereabouts come the end. Especially if Pisculichi and Kopteff keep up the good work which has just won them first and second pace respectively in the player of the month competition.

Bournemouth 3 Bristol City 3

So a slightly more exciting game with goals galore today, but lets see how it goes. 4 minutes gone and Bournemouth apply pressure on the defence and eventually get through and take the lead. A bad start for the titties. But with 5 minutes to go before the half time Pisculichi plays a great cross to the back post where Routledge's shot comes back off the post only to Steve Wilson who bangs home for 1-1. But thats not all for the first half, Bourenmouth take the lead again on the stroke of half time after a long ball beats the defence and Phillips is unable to stop the shot. But thats still not all as pisculichi plays the ball in to Kopteff who advances on the goalie and shoots with power from close range to draw level once again. So 2-2 at half time.

3 minutes gone in the 2nd half and a long shot from outside the area takes a wiked deflection and finds the back of the net for Bournemouth to take the lead once again. And it looks like that will be all for today as the game reaches injury time. But with 3 minutes of injury time gone Pisculichi plays a cross to Deco at the near post who challenges the keeper and forces him to put the ball into his own net. What a moment for the titties. They showed great fight to the end and it came off. Peter Kopteff the star is awarded the man of the match award.

With that thrilling 3-3 draw the titties move down to 4th place, but we have a home game now to hopefully gain a few more points tonight.

Bristol City 3 Ipswich 0

The final game of tonights session and its a great one for the titties. But not for Ipswich as they score an own goal with only 10 minutes on the clock. Pisculichi once again played the cross that was turned in. And thats all for the first half.

A very boring first half with only a few shots on goal between the two teams, but that all changes as the titties start to get more shots. But it takes until the 84th minute when the titties are awarded a penalty which Pisculichi steps up to take but it hits the bar, however Duncan is on hand to slot home the rebound. Right on the stroke of 90 minutes and Babayaro is shown his second yellow card and is sent off. Darren Duncan wasn't finished though as he rises above the defence to head home after a Pisculichi cross with 94 minutes gone. A 2 goal substitution, not bad. Pisculichi wins the man of the match award.

So we end the session in 3rd place after that win among some other great results.

Top Scorer

Once again Leonardo Pisculichi is the top scorer with 4 goals.

Top Assists

Todays top assists was on its way to Peter Kopteff until the last game when Pisculichi grabbed 3 to take his total to 5.

Player of the Session

Two players shone in todays session with six goals and seven assists between them along with 5 man of the match awards and some top rated performances. These 2 players are Leonardo Pisculichi and Peter Kopteff

The Fulham Festivities - We're almost back on top!!!!!

It has been an outstanding period for Fulham with plenty of goals and the defending has been pretty tight as well much to the delight of Hepburn. Fulham sit second in the league only two points behind Man Utd and Fulham are doing well to keep pace with them. They also sit proudly top of their Champions League group ahead of last season's winners Bayern Munich that Hepburn is very happy about. Here is a run down of the latest games......

Premiership

Wigan v Fulham - (A) 6th October 2010

After a good win at home to Newcastle, Fulham faced Wigan at the JJB stadium and were out for revenge after Wigan hammered Fulham in this fixture last season. Fulham showed all their class and were really up for this game. They tore Wigan apart time and time again but could not find any end product much to the annoyance of Hepburn. They finally made their pressure count as Nakamura found his way through just before half time. Wigan then scored early in the second half completely against the run of play but Fulham showed their chracter by retaking the lead only minutes later through Pazzini. Fulham had plenty of chances to increase their laed but could not finish any of the chances being created. A good performance from Fulham although more goals to show their superiority would have been the icing on the cake.

Final Score - Wigan 1 v 2 Fulham

Goals - Wigan - Scotland (49)

Goals - Fulham - Nakamura (43), Pazzini (53)

Att - 19957

MOM - Shunsuke Nakamura (Fulham)

Premiership

Fulham v Blackburn - (H) 16th October 2010

Hepburn was furious with his team after this game as it was two stupid points dropped from Fulham's point of view. A game of few chances and missed opportunities for Fulham and let Man Utd increase their lead at the top of the league. Not even the sending off of Blackburn's Brett Emerton late in the first half could help Fulham muster a goal.

Final Score - Fulham 0 v 0 Blackburn

Att - 31317

MOM - Rafael van der Vaart (Fulham)

Champions League Group H

Fulham v Bayern Munich - (H) 19th October 2010

It was back to the Champions League for Fulham as they welcomed last season'e Champions League winners Bayern Munich. It was going to be a huge test for a Fulham side going into this game on the back of an indifferent spell. They started the game well and got a superb early goal through Pazzini as he ran onto a Maresca through ball and fired past Pelizzoli. Fulham were matching Bayern all over the pitch and puttting so much effort into the game to stop Bayern from playing their game. The match was so even with very few chances after Pazzini's opener. As the second half drew to a close the Fulham players were tiring and Bayern took advantage of this and equalised with only four minutes to go as Borut Semler a second half substitute did the damage to break Fulham's hearts and deny them a famous win.

Final Score - Fulham 1 v 1 Bayern Munich

Goals - Fulham - Pazzini (9)

Goals - Bayern Munich - Semler (86)

Att - 32925

MOM - Jerko Leko (Bayern Munich)

Premiership

Tottenham v Fulham - (A) 23rd October 2010

Next up for Fulham was a trip acorss London to take on Tottenham. It was a pretty even with Tottenham having the better of the first half and Fulham the second. The game was decided right on half time when Robbie Keane bulleted home a header to stun Fulham. They deserved the goal on the balance of play in the first half. Fulham were sluggish and looked jaded after their midweek game. Hepburn gave them a good talking to because in the second half they were a different team. They were full of energy and started creating chances but in the end could not take them and yet again the Tottenham keeper Weidenfeller played brilliantly to deny Fulham. In the end Fulham were unlucky not to escape with a draw but did not do enough to deserve the win.

Final Score - Tottenham 1 v 0 Fulham

Goals - Tottenham - Keane (45)

Att - 36223

MOM - Kevin Hofland (Fulham)

Carling Cup Round Three

Newcastle v Fulham - (A) 27th October 2010

An absolutely absyml performance from Fulham and they deserved to lose by a few more goals. Hepburn was left in shock by how terrible his team were and I am sure he let them know how badly they played.

Final Score - Newcastle 3 v 0 Fulham

Goals - Newcastle - Kallstrom (21), Mido (31, 37)

Att - 44752

MOM - Mido (Newcastle)

Premiership

Fulham v Aston Villa - (H) 30th October 2010

After the debacle that was Newcastle in midweek, Hepburn wanted a good win to keep up with the leaders in the Premiership and he was wanting a good performance at the same time. Villa as always would make it difficult for Fulham by packing midfield and getting plenty of men behind the ball and hit Fulham on the counter attack. A game of few chances ensued but Fulham took their chances and won this game. Both goals came in the second half through Kalou and Pazzini and Hepburn was delighted with the victory ahead of a huge Champions League against Bayern Munich in Munich.

Final Score - Fulham 2 v 0 Aston Villa

Goals - Fulham - Kalou (53), Pazzini (67)

Att - 32986

MOM - Javier Mascherano (Fulham)

Champions League Group H

Bayern Munich v Fulham - (A) 3rd November 2010

A game which may define Fulham's season here. No one fancied them to win and some not even a draw but this group of Fulham players proved everyone wrong by producing a first half performance that they may never produce again and against last season's Champions League winners in their own back yard. Bayern were shocked and even Hepburn was left speechless when asked how his team managed to pull off such an impressive win. Fulham got off to the perfect start when Maresca slotted home a penalty after only two minutes. They just seemed to grow in confidence and Bayern were left chasing shadows for forty five minutes. Fulham added three more goals before half time through Pazzini and a brilliant van der Vaart double and Fulham were in dreamland. Bayern had no answer in the second half as well as Fulham dominated that as well but could score a fifth but who was counting by that point!!!! A sensational performance from Fulham and has left the rest of Europe taking note of what Fulham can do on their day!!!!

Final Score - Bayern Munich 0 v 4 Fulham

Goals - Fulham - Maresca (pen,2), Pazzini (18), van der Vaart (29,37)

Att - 58025

MOM - Rafael van der Vaart (Fulham)

Premiership

Chelsea v Fulham - (A) 7th November 2010

If one huge game wasn't enough in a week then two is and it was yet another memorable day for Fulham away at Stamford Bridge. They travelled here full of confidence and it showed when they went out on the pitch as they took the lead after only two minutes through Pazzini. It was end to end stuff but it was Fulham who were doing all the scoring as Chelsea could not find their way past an inspired defence and Peter Enckelman. Shunsuke Nakamura made it 2-0 on the half hour and that was how the half ended although Petr Cech kept the score down as he pulled off save after save. It was more of the same in the second half as Chelsea had no answer to Fulham's attacking prowess. Substitute Valeri Bojinov made it 3-0 and the victory was rounded off with a Michael Essien goal which made it four. It was inspiring stuff and the fans were loving every minute of it as they recorded their first victory at Stamford Bridge under Hepburn.

Final Score - Chelsea 0 v 4 Fulham

Goals - Fulham - Pazzini (2), Nakamura (30), Bojinov (64), Essien (86)

Att - 42422

MOM - Luisao (Fulham)

Premiership

Fulham v Man City - (H) 20th November 2010

Fulham welcomed Man City to the Cottage and Hepburn knew they were in for a really tough game. Gone were the days when Fulham used to thrash City. They have came a long way since then and have given Fulham some real problems over the last couple of seasons. it was a really tough game with few clear cut chances and Hepburn had predicted. Rafeal van der Vaart got Fulham off to a great start with a goal after only six minutes but they failed for once to build on that early lead. City made it hard for them with some tough tackling and their defence was well drilled and snuffed out the Fulham attack. City managed to get an equaliser through Gerard and then made it even harder for Fulham to get another goal by packing their defence and frustrating Fulham. Fulham could not create much in front of goal and the match ended 1-1.

Final Score - Fulham 1 v 1 Man City

Goals - Fulham - van der Vaart (6)

Goals - Man City - Gerard (29)

Att - 32775

MOM - Stewart Downing (Fulham)

Champions League Group H

Benfica v Fulham - (A) 23rd November 2010

Fulham travelled to Portugal looking for three more points that would assure them qualification for the knockout stages of the Champions League for the second year in a row. The game itself was an awesome display from Fulham as they hit Benfica for four and it could have been a whole lot more. They were superb throughout and deserved more goals but Hepburn was happy with the win. Benfica shockingly took the lead with nine minutes of the half remaining and this only fired Fulham up even more as they dominated the half but could not find a goal until Maresca slammed in the equaliser as the sides went in at half time level. In the seocnd half Fulham were far more clinical and Bojinov put them ahead and then Schulz made it three from the penalty spot. Then Ponzio on as a sub rounded of an emphatic win for Fulham with number four.

Final Score - Benfica 1 v 4 Fulham

Goals - Benfica - Delgado (36)

Goals - Fulham - Maresca (43), Bojinov (54), Schulz (pen,76), Ponzio (90)

MOM - Valeri Bojinov (Fulham)

Premiership

Crewe v Fulham - (A) 27th November 2010

Fulham were in the middle of a great run of form and Crewe were next to feel their wrath. Former Crewe manager paul Rouch was present to witness this mauling of his once great team. To be fair to Crewe they gave a great account of themselves and were unlucky not to score a couple of goals but they could not cope with the likes of Bojinov, Essien, Maresca and Mascherano running at them time after time. Essien was the star of the show with a brilliant hat trick and Bojinov added a fourth for good measure. Fulham now seem to be scoring goals for fun and their fans are loving every minute of it. No one at the moment seems capable of stopping them just now and they are getting closer to the top of the league all the time.

Final Score - Crewe 0 v 4 Fulham

Goals - Fulham - Essien (35,42,45), Bojinov (52)

Att - 10095

MOM - Michael Essien (Fulham)

This has been a superb run for Fulham so far and they are free scoring at the moment and not conceding many goals. There is still a long way to go in the season and Hepburn knows it will be tough to keep up the title hopes but Hepburn knows he has the squad to do it.

Stay tuned to find out!!!!!

The Fulham Festivities - We got the red devils in our sights!!!

Fulham are in the middle of a great run of form and they have Man Utd and Arsenal firmly in their sights as we approach the end of the season. This recent run of great form has seen Fulham score plenty of goals but of course we cannot forget the odd silly defeat thrown in for good measure. If Fulham are going to win the league it looks like they will have to do it the hard way. Here is a run down of the latest games......................

Premiership

Fulham v Charlton - (H) 4th December 2010

Fulham went into this game having scored eight goals in their two previous games and Hepburn was again looking for plenty of goals and another good performance. The Fulham players delivered for their manager as they hit Charlton for six and yet it could have been more such was their dominance. The drubbing began in only six minutes when Bojinov scored a superb goal. Then Maresca grabbed number two after fifteeen minutes and charlton were starting to feel the pressure. They held out till half time only two down but in the second half Fulham upped the tempo and scored four times in a fifteen minute spell. Marseca got his second and then only two minutes later a David Rooney own goal made it four. Then goal machine Pazzini came on and scored a superb double to add to Charlton's misery. It was an awesome display from Fulham and Hepburn was happy with another three points.

Final Score - Fulham 6 v 0 Charlton

Goals - Fulham - Bojinov (6), Maresca (15,76), Rooney (og,78), Pazzini (85,87)

Att - 32993

MOM - Enzo Maresca (Fulham)

Champions League Group H

Fulham v M. Haifa - (H) 8th December 2010

Another fantastic free scoring performance here from Fulham to secure their place as winners of Group H in the Chmapions League. Hepburn made a couple of changes with the likes of Huth and Downing coming in and trying to stake a claim for a first team spot. Huth did himself the world of good by scoring an unbelievable strike from just outside the area and the goalkeeper had no chance with it. An own goal from Klein made it 2-0 for Fulham and Fulham were coasting to victory. In form Bojinov made it three just after half time and midfielder Leonardo Ponzio rounded off a great Fulham performance, slotting home a penalty for number four.

Final Score - Fulham 4 v 0 M. Haifa

Goals - Fulham - Huth (10), Klein (og,33), Bojinov (47), Ponzio (pen,84)

Att - 28765

MOM - Stewart Downing (Fulham)

Premiership

Leeds v Fulham - (A) 11th December 2010

Next up for Fulham was a trip to Ellend Road to take on struggling Leeds Utd who were bottom of the table with only one win to their name all season. Fulham settled into their game easily and soon had Leeds under some pressure without taking advantage. Against the run of play Aliadiere raced onto a through ball and slotted it past Enckelman. Fulham looked stunned but Enckelman really should have saved his shot in the first place. Fulham tried to find an equaliser for the remainder of the first half but could not find a way through. It was more of the same in the second half as Fulham pressed and pressed to find this equaliser. It eventually came much to the relief of Hepburn and it was van der Vaart who got the goal. The chances started falling for Fulham thick and fast and Pazzini made it two with a shot inside the area. He then scored his second to put this game beyond Leeds although Leeds pulled another goal back with two minutes to go but there was no grandstand finish from Leeds and Fulham went home with another three points.

Final Score - Leeds 2 v 3 Fulham

Goals - Leeds - Aliadiere (17), Johnson (88)

Goals - Fulham - van der Vaart (60), Pazzini (72,83)

Att - 36385

MOM - Shunsuke Nakamura (Fulham)

Premiership

Fulham v Liverpool - (H) 18th December 2010

A huge game for Fulham as they entertained title rivals Liverpool to the Cottage in a potential six pointer. It was a very open attacking game of football even with the stakes so high. Liverpool scored first as they started much the better team and cisse was the man that put them ahead. Fulham fought back and were battling for everything. Kirkland produced some fine saves to deny Fulham but he could do nothing to stop Pazzini powering his way through and smashing the ball past hime from just inside the area. The Cottage was rocking and the fans, willing their team on to try and get a winner. they had their chances as did Liverpool but neither could get the winning goal. At the end of the day a result was a fair for both sides as they battled hard and both had periods of dominance during the game.

Final Score - Fulham 1 v 1 Liverpool

Goals - Fulham - Pazzini (70)

Goals - Liverpool - Cisse (45)

Att - 32946

MOM - Salomon Kalou (Fulham)

Premiership

Fulham v Wolves - (H) 22nd December 2010

The games were coming thick and fast due to the Christmas period but Fulham just kept on winning much to the delight of manager Hepburn. Next for Fulham was Wolves at the Cottage and it was another solid performance from Fulham who took home all three points with ease. A game of limited chances but Fulham took the chances that came their way. Essien put Fulham ahead just on the half hour and Fulham took total control of the game from that moment on. Muntari doubled Fulham's lead midway through the second half with a great strike from outside the area. Then Pazzini made it three only three minutes later to seal a super win for Fulham.

Final Score - Fulham 3 v 0 Wolves

Goals - Fulham - Essien (31), Muntari (57), Pazzini (60)

Att - 30226

MOM - Stewart Downing (Fulham)

Premiership

Stoke v Fulham - (A) 26th December 2010

Fulham suffered from somewhat of a boxing day hangover as they really struggled to overcome a stuffy Stoke team determined on putting an end to Fulham's unbeaten run. Fulham got off to a great start when Bojinov put them ahead after only five minutes but Stoke came right back at Fulham and with some better finishing could have been ahead at half time. In the second half Fulham came out much more energetic and up for the game after a rollicking at half time from Hepburn. They started creating chances and showing Stoke how good they were after a dismal first half showing. But for some great saves from Colin Doyle it could have been more but they held on to their lead and took home the three points.

Final Score - Stoke 0 v 1 Fulham

Goals - Fulham - Bojinov (5)

Att - 28178

MOM - Stewart Downing (Fulham)

Premiership

Southampton v Fulham - (A) 3rd January 2011

Fulham's unbeaten run came to an end away at Southampton and this maybe the wake up call they needed after a couple of struggling performances in their last couple of games. To their credit Fulham fought till the end but a last minute winner gave the Saints a deserved win. It was a a pretty even game but slack defending cost Fulham dear for Southampton's first two goals. Fulham fought back twice to level this game through Maresca and Bojinov but it still was not enough as Kevin Foley made himself a hero by slamming home the winner with a minute to go.

Final Score - Southampton 3 v 2 Fulham

Goals - Southampton - Olofinjana (3), Best (13), Foley (89)

Goals - Fulham - Maresca (10), Bojinov (65)

Att - 30856

MOM - Salomon Kalou (Fulham)

FA Cup 3rd Round

Fulham v QPR - (H) 8th January 2011

A welcome distraction for Fulham after a couple of poor performances in the league. it was time for the FA Cup and Hepburn was hoping his team would get a good cup run this year. They welcomed Rob Perry's old club QPR to the Cottage. Fulham started off very poorly and found themselves one behind after only four minutes and the fans were silenced. Two goals in two minutes turned this match in Fulham's favour and knocked the stuffing out of QPR at the same time. Gianpaolo Pazzini equalised and then Muntari put them ahead and it was the tunr of the QPR players to looked shocked. Van der Vaart then added further misery to QPR by adding a third and it was game over. Fulham had more chances to add to their lead but could not take them. Fulham's star player Solomon Kalou stupidly got himself sent off for two bookable offences and Hepburn was not happy as he walked off. Fulham held on without to much trouble and into round four they went where they face MK Dons.

Final Score - Fulham 3 v 1 QPR

Goals - Fulham - Pazzini (26), Muntari (27), van der Vaart (32)

Goals - QPR - McKenna (4)

Att - 32992

MOM - Shunsuke Nakamura (Fulham)

It has been a great run for Fulham but it remains to be seen whether they can last the distance in the title race but confidence in the Fulham camp is high and Hepburn is quietly confident they can snatch the title from Arsenal and Man Utd. In the Champions League they face Lyon so they have a great chances of going further in that competition and hepburn is hopeful of a good FA Cup run. Things are looking good for Fulham at the moment.

Stay tuned to find out!!!!!!!!!!

It's only taken about five years but for once he has no smart ass answers or comebacks. Must be losing your touch rouchie. icon_biggrin.gificon_razz.gif </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

At the moment there will not be an EFB 06 clan as I have lost all my enthusiasm for playing online at the moment due to the reliability and commitment of certain people who joined the clan for EFB FM.

Cannot be bothered with constantly having to tell people to do updates, I mean it is in the ****ing rules of our game yet people chose to ignore them time after time. It felt like I was at ****ing nursery school all over again. Also people just leaving the game without bothering their arses telling me they have left has really ****ed me off during EFB FM.

Just can't be arsed going through the same hassle again when the game is meant to be enjoyable for us all.

I don't know maybe I might get my enthusiasm back sometime in the near future but for now once this season of EFB FM is done EFB will be done as a clan for the time being.

Don't worry I will hunt you down if I think about starting a new game. If not i will just email you instead. icon_biggrin.gif

I am contemplating starting EFB FM 06 lads but with a new stricter structure because I cannot be bothered with what happened during EFB FM regarding commitment and posting of updates etc etc.

Just watch this thread and oh aye I need to actually purchase the damn game before I can do any more hosting!!! icon_biggrin.gif

No you will have a place in EFB FM 06 mate so don't worry about that. Although it might be January before I get the game up and running. Allows you to practice more because after EFB FM you definitely need some. icon_razz.gif

How many times did you lose in the play offs again rouchie? icon_wink.gif
