Calvincito
I know we have the dynamic league reputations, but does a country's financial status (ie "economic factor" and "financial power") change over time?
Calvincito
Im bumping this thread to see if anyone's got an answer. Maybe even SI themselves? =)
achilles-the-victorious
No. There's the answer to your question. As far as I know its because FM doesn't consider itself a economic simulator, and the complexity has been deemed not to be worth the trouble (I would be in favor of some dynamism but understand the complexity it would unleash as well). Pretty much spot on. The complexity of such a system doesn't really bear thinking about to add to an already massively complex system. But hey, I'm sure many years ago dynamic reputation would have got the same answer. Maybe we'll have it in the future.
JackInDerBox
Does not really answer your question but since FM 11's dynamic reputation system was implemented I had a save in Scotland where by 2020 quite a few Scottish clubs were absolutely minted. The increased rep of the league meant more teams in Europe. The additional revenue generated from that plus the increased rep of the players who could then be sold for more meant that I was able to acquire a £25M transfer budget without having to sell players.
