grade
Hi guys. I first want to tell this is not glorify how good FM07 is compared later games, since there is the correct area of the forum to do that, but I decided to share my recent save game career in FM07. Note: I use on FM07 I loaded the English, Spannish, Italian and Portuguese Leagues to the lower level, also the database is edited one. I changed Pepe and Liedson to nacionality Portuguese, added Hulk and Neymar (using his stats from FM12 database, but lower CA to accurately affect their ages for when the save game starts - 2006) and added some other teams. Also I added Sir Richard Branson as the new chairman of Hearts (because I like having Virgin logo in my teams shirts, which I edited myself), and decided to manage Hearts. Background: Several teams from Scottish, Welsh, Irish and Northern Ireland have moved to the English leagues and was spread across the English leagues by their club reputation. So here are the teams in which leagues: Barclays Premiership Rangers Celtic Coca Cola Championship Hearts (Me ) Motherwell Coca Cola League 1 Bohemians Shelbourne Shamrock Rovers Coca Cola League 2 Linfield Glentoran Conference Crusaders I'm currently a few season played, so I will update them all, post by post. My Ultimate goal this season is to accept a challenge Scolari said in an interview. What would be like a team to have both C. Ronaldo and Messi at the same team. With enough success I will be able to do that, and it is my ultimate goal for this save. PS: I already posted this career in another forum, but decided now to share it here. grade
Hearts Season 2006/2007 I decided in my new database, add a new Chairman and to be exactly what I did I got 10 million for transfers. I know that will make a lot of difference for team at Championship level, but 10 million is hardly enough if the Hearts wanted to be enough quality to get promotion at first season. I made major cleaning in the staff and team (I had lot of loan players and decided to do away with them to bring the loans I wanted, despite I can't get full time loans. Here is my transfers, but I had only a few loans (when starting at Hearts you have plenty of loans), so no outs. In Kevin Larsen - €900k (Lyn) Didier Digard - €500k (Le Havre) Pedro Léon - €5.25M (Murcia) Fábio Coentrão - €400k (Rio Ave) Danny Szetela - €200k (Columbus) Rubem Amorim - €240k (Belenenses) Eddie Johnson - €2M (Kansas City) Elano - €13M (Shakhtar) I'm in September, I'm currently 4th. grade
So I finally reach the closing of the January transfers. Let's start with Hearts. Well let's start with bad news. I got in into the Uefa Cup group stage, where I was able to win 1 match, draw another and lost the rest, which I was knocked out from Uefa Cup. The good news, I gone through the first playoff of the FA Cup, I'm currently 1st of the Championship with the second (West Brom) about 3 points after me and I was able to reach semi finals of Carling Cup, after I defeated: Northampton, Birmingham and Arsenal (by 2-0) and got knocked out in semi-final by Charlton. In overall I'm quite happy for these results specially after winning Arsenal and in the first season. Here is the general update of other clubs: Premiership (EPL) Celtic - 9th Rangers - 7th Championship Hearts (me) - 1st Motherwell - 21st League One Shamrock Rovers - 23rd Bohemians - 12th Shelbourne - 19th League Two Glentoran - 16th Linfield - 23rd Conference Crusaders - 23rd I'm not surprise the results of other clubs, since the other two saves (which i failed in the end, this is my third try), the results were pretty much about the same. grade
Hi Guys, so I reach the end of Season 2006/2007. I finished 1st, best result I ever had with Hearts in all three saves I made with them. So here I go to Barclays Premiership. Here is the final standings 06/07 season of other clubs: Premiership (EPL) Celtic - 4th (qualified to Champions League) Rangers - 9th Championship Hearts (me) - 1st (promoted) Motherwell - 19th League One Shamrock Rovers - 24th (relegated) Bohemians - 13th Shelbourne - 20th League Two Glentoran - 17th Linfield - 24th (relegated) Conference Crusaders - 23rd (relegated) I'm bit surprised with Linfield since it was a team that in other saves they usually barely stay in League Two, but it seems in this save their luck run out. Once I reach the close of transfer window and beginning season 2007/2008 I will post my transfers.

grade
Season 07/08 So I reach the mid-season and here is the update. So let's start with my January transfers. Transfers In Bruno Aguiar - €2M (FBK Kaunas) José Gonçalves - €1.3M (FBK Kaunas) Alexandre Pato - €10M (Internacional) Transfer Out I didn't sold anyone, which is one of my pet peeves of this game, it is hard to sell a few players I don't want, but not that worried. Here is the mid-season standings 07/08 season: Premiership (EPL) Celtic - 16th Rangers - 15th Hearts (me) - 9th Championship Motherwell - 10th League One Bohemians - 20th Shelbourne - 13th League Two Shamrock Rovers - 20th Glentoran - 8th Conference Linfield - 4th Conference North Crusaders - 10th I'm bit surprised how Celtic and Rangers fall down in their respective standings, let see if they improve in second half the season. I enjoying being in mid table at this point, but with Elano injured for next 4 months, makes me a bit worried. I guess I have to adapt Carlos Vela to replace him. grade
Here is the end season standings 07/08 season: Premiership (EPL) Celtic - 16th Rangers - 13th Hearts (me) - 11th (qualified for Inter Toto) Championship Motherwell - 14th League One Bohemians - 24th (relegated) Shelbourne - 12th League Two Shamrock Rovers - 21st Glentoran - 4th (eleiminated on promotion playoffs) Conference Linfield - 2nd (eliminated on promotion playoffs) Conference North Crusaders - 9th Well I it wasn't bad obverall for Hearts, but it made me clear there is some areas i need to improve. I was shock to see the Bohemians relegated. On good note, Mourinho with Chelsea won his second straight Champions League.
grade
Hi guys. So here is the mid-season standings Scottish, N. Irish and Irish teams in the English teams in 08/09 season: Premiership (EPL) Celtic - 11th Rangers - 19th Hearts (me) - 10th Championship Motherwell - 24th League One Shelbourne - 5th League Two Bohemians - 7th Shamrock Rovers - 20th Glentoran - 9th Conference Linfield - 6th Conference North Crusaders - 9th I'm through the phase of groups from Uefa Cup, I will be facing Feyenoord in the playoffs. But I was defeated in the quarter-finals in League Cup, but I'm still in the FA Cup. So I'm bit surprise how Rangers have fallen this season. Sometimes this game as a good sense of humour, since tends to predict as in real life, as what happen to Rangers this past year (I'm not kidding it happen the same time with the news of Rangers going bankrupt). Let's us see how they will do the rest of the season.

grade
Hi guys. So here is the standings Scottish, N. Irish and Irish teams in the English teams in 08/09 season: Premiership (EPL) Celtic - 10th Rangers - 18th (relegated) Hearts (me) - 9th Championship Motherwell - 24th (relegated) League One Shelbourne - 13th League Two Bohemians - 5th Shamrock Rovers - 21st Glentoran - 11th Conference Linfield - 8th Conference North Crusaders - 14th I was able to reach the quarter-finals of Uefa, after eliminating Feynoord and Marseilles, but was eliminated by Liverpool. Also finishing 9th as put me away from the european competitions and I starting to have somewhat financial crisis, without European competition not sure how next season will go. In a good news I'm at the end of sponsor contract, so hopefully Hearts can get a better deal. I was a bit more surprise with Rangers being relegated as it was something I didn't predict. I guess it is me and Celtic on premiership.
grade
Hi guys. Here is my transfers for the 2009/2010 season: In Fábio - Free (Man United) Rafael - Free (Man United) Angel Di Maria - Free (Messina) Helder Barbosa - Free (Porto) Coelho - Free (Inter) Pedro - Free (Barcelona) Michael Mancienne - €2.3M (Chelsea) Joe Hart - €3.3M (Man City) Michel Shmoller - €4.6M (Grêmio) Out Jonas Elmer - €1.5M (Cardiff) Fabio Ferreira - €1M (West Ham) Craig Gordon - €10M (Wigan) - not sure if it was the best deal Antonis Nikopolidis - Free (Leeds) released several other players on free including Neil McCann, Mirsad Beslija and Juho Makela. I got a 4 year contract from the sponsor at 2.36M per season, which isn't much. I need this season to do extremelly well to get to uefa competitions and actual win some cups to try avoid to be like last season, ending €1M in the red. But I think it will work out in the end. grade
Hi guys, back in my save. So here is the standings Scottish, N. Irish and Irish teams in the English leagues in 09/10 season: Premiership (EPL) Celtic - 6th Hearts (me) - 7th Championship Rangers - 1st League One Motherwell - 5th Shelbourne - 11th League Two Bohemians - 14th Shamrock Rovers - 15th Glentoran - 22nd Conference Linfield - 2nd Conference North Crusaders - 7th It has been a mix of a season, but with the aim of going to european competitions, the pressure is great (in me). I was able to reach semi-finals of Carlin Cup eliminated Arsenal, but in the FA Cup my team was eliminated by Chelsea in the first round. Nonetheless it seems I have been improving the positions season after season, but finding some good players that I want to join up, is quite hard and challenging. I was able nonetheless able to hire Neymar (I add him at the beginning of the save game using the information that came with FM12 database) and wil join at the end of the season (since he only turn 18 in February and transfer window was closed). However my right side of midfield seems to be lacking and it something I have to address in beginning of next season.
