TheDentalist
Whenever I begin a new save I tend to focus the first couple of seasons on building a competitive squad and then look at the backroom staff. It got me thinking about the effect good coaches have on players/performances. Am I making a mistake by not getting the training star ratings up to 4 or 5 stars from the outset? Does anyone know how much of an impact the better training ratings have on the players and game to game performances?
eple
If you're at a financially sound club I don't see any reason to wait with improving the standard of the coaches. Except from tactics- and fitness coaches (who might influence the improvement of tactic familiarity and fitness levels - I'm not sure about that) their direct impact is seen on the players attributes rather than their performance, although indirectly higher skills will of course result in better performances. So better coaches and facilities and you'll see players reach their potential much sooner.
