squashstar666
Just playing west brom and jones goes up for a header the ball doesnt even reach him when the whistle goes at this point hes in westbroms half. Referee says jones handballed even though the ball hadnt even reached him and then sends him off ? I keep saying sending offs are far too frequent but this ones a tad ridiculous ! scott MUFC
it is the same with offsides, seemingly a player is offside before he touches the ball.
tomtuck01
It's the 3D representation merely being behind the ME.

scott MUFC
a player has to be offside, a ball lumped forward and left by the offside player so someone who isn't can get it, that isn't offside, you don't get this oppertunity. i think sometimes the ME gets ahead itself, so something that is about to happen, happens. It depends whether the player that leaves it is interfering with play or not. And what mood the linesman is in.
CityAndColour
Handball really shouldn't be a straight red card anyway, unless it's preventing a clear goal-scoring opportunity.

Unless i've missed it somewhere the OP doesnt state whether it was a straight red or a second yellow? I agree with what you say but may have been another yellow. Ryknow
I had one recently. Within the first few minutes of a match, a long ball to my striker, he apparently took it down with his arm. Straight red for "Deliberate handball". He was about a few yards from the goal, and basically on the byline. First I've seen so far (2019 save). Very difficult to see if it did with the animations. He accepted a 2 week wages fine anyways, so, must be guilty...

Regardless I've seen straight reds for handball on FM that are miles from goal. It was brought up twice in the bugs section when the game was released, it's an error in law and no they won't fix it.
