TheDentalist
Sorry to be a pain as I'm sure this is a fairly straight forward thing to do, however I don't have much experience with editing in FM and hoped that someone could point me in the direction of an existing thread which explains how to do it? Any help would be appreciated. I simplly want to customise the kit of the club that I manage as I have been in charge for a number of years and, as would happen in real life, I'd like to modify the kit sponsor etc. Thanks. Lawlore
This is more of a skinning question than an editing one, so you may wish to have a look in the Skinning Forum for much, much more information. To change the design of the kit on the pitch, you need to download the editor, and can do it through that. I believe this will, however, only take effect for new games, not existing ones. I could be wrong about that. To change the kit on the overview/information, you need to create the kit either in a PSP/Photoshop-type program or with a tool like SSD (http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/downloads.php?do=file&id=4566). You then need to put it in the correct place, with an XML config file- there is a guide for doing so here: http://www.fmscout.com/a-how-to-make-xml-config-files.html . This works both for teams with "real" kits (e.g., English league teams) and those who just have generic kits (e.g., English Prem teams).
