ds123
Just got a new laptop and the text on the screen looks blurry like looking through frosted glass. Do you think this is due to the screen? I've heard there are gloss and matte finish screens, can matte screens make text less sharp? It is not too bad reading text on the internet, but it looks worse in Football Manager. FrazT
Even though it is new, start by updating the graphics card driver as often this is not done at set up be the seller. Update Windows as well. It is unlikely but, is there an adhesive film over the screen to protect it?
mbchuz
What resolution is your display, and what resolution is Windows outputting? (assuming it's Windows... not much info to go on :/ ) If you think it may be wrong, right click an empty area on your desktop and go to 'Screen resolution'. If your laptop was advertised as 'Full HD' you'll want 1920x1080, but I'm guessing you'll want 1366x768. There's no harm in adjusting the slider to try different resolutions, so have a play.
