Old Hand
We're currently over-performing in the Blue Square Premier and are sitting 6th in January after having the expectation to avoid relegation. The board have asked if I want to change the expectations as we're doing so well. Aside from the small wage and transfer budget boost, is there any point to doing this? Does it give me more manager points or anything like that?
Puni
If you don't get a bigger financial margin on wages or transfer budget, I wouldn't do it. Lower expectations means that you'll perform better from a relative point of view, and is thus always more appealing.
Katarian
Unless there is a massive boast to the Wage and Transfer Budgets, it's always best to select the lowest expectation. If you choose the lowest expectation and overachieve the board will be delighted, if you raise expectations and underperform then you'll be looking for new job pretty quickly. Old Hand
Yeah that's what I was thinking. Seems like just a chance to make a rod for your own back. We'll stick with our low expectations then. Cheers!
