3-1-4-2: Looking to get help to get more shots on target

I am currently using Manchester United, a team that I've been supporting since I was a little boy. I am in my second season currently, and after tweaking with numerous settings, I am still not able to get it right and would like some help with the rest of the other experts here.

My first team:

DC: Smalling

DC: Evans

DC: Jones

DMC: Javi Martinez

ML: Nani

MCL: Cleverley

MCR: Kagawa

MR: Rafael

STL: Lewandowski / Van Persie (long term injury -shucks-)

STR: Rooney

My analysis:

Possession does not seem to be an issue, with my team dominating most teams with a 50+ to 60+ percentage. Getting shots in does not seem to be any issue as well, averaging more than 10 shots per game. An analysis of where the shots came in, also showed that there is a good mix of both shots within the box and outside the box.

Is there something that I am currently missing out? What are the ways in which I can help my strikers, tactically, to get them to have more shots on target? Or is it perhaps a motivation problem?

I have attached my tactic just in case anyone would like to have a look at it.
