Just started up a new game, starting unemployed. After rejecting offers from coventry, oldham, a few blue square south teams and a 3rd tier portuguese team, i decided to take the Bilbao athletic (athletic bilbaos B team) in the spanish 4th tier.

I cant sign players nor handle contract negotiations? I guess all my players are pretty much "on loan" from the A team (as i assume i am the reserve team xD) and im not actually allowed to sign players? If thats the case, this could get pretty interesting, apart from the fact i am about 7k over ym very small wage budget (it was like that before i took over -.-)

Anyone played a "B" team before? Im unsure as to how this works.

EDIT:: I think i worked it out. I can go to the "A" team and "move to affiliate2 since in a sense we share players. AFAIK i need to pay 1005 of the wages, but i can also send players back to the "A" team. Players MUST be registered to be able to play, so i guess the registration window opens with the transfer window.

Added this in incase anyone can tell me im wrong, or learn from this if im right, dont know if this was blatantly obvious or not, but im sure someone else may be wondering this somewhere.

I haven't tried it but I'm not very impressed with how B-teams work when you are managing the first team. I can't imagine it's much better on the other side of the fence.

Just a note though.. players who are registered for the 1st team can't play for the B-team, but B-team players can play for the first team.

Ah, ok. Was thinking of bolstering the squad for the january registration window but i guess ill be raiding athletics youth team xD Think im going to focus more on players with higher mental and physical attributes and not worry about technical ones. Im actually enjoying it, it puts far more emphasis on tactics as you NEED to work with what you've got. Started in september 3rd bottom of the league, beat the league leaders and went on to beat the next 2 teams to take me out of the drop zone ^^
