Bobble2002
I was managing Colwyn Bay in div2 after two straight promotions . The job of managing Olympic Marseille came up and i applied for it My chairmen then gave me the ultimatum to apologise or quit so i decided what the heck and quit . Needless to say i then did not get the job at OM and two days later also got turned down after applying for the Portsmouth job . A week later i was then offered the job of England manager which i had not even realised had become vacant . Kind of weird getting turned down by Portsmouth in Div2 who just laughed off the application and then being offered the England managers job . Mind you i only stuck with England for one game as i found it too boring managing an international team and then got offered the Arsenal managers job a month later . Scope151
ive always found intl job offers a bit weird. I got 'laughed at' for applying for England, after having won the EPL and CL, then they gave it to Brendan Rodgers who had gotten fired from Liverpool by December. Thought it might be an experience issue since it was Summer of 2014, but a week later I applied and got the Italy job. I'm playing as Irish/English.
