keith28910171 Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 I have been playing FM13 since december and in this time have completed 4 seasons with 3 different teams. Most aspects I find are very realistic and I enjoy playing the game a lot. My issue, which am starting to wonder whether is a problem with the game, is goals to shots ratios. With my 3 different teams, Liverpool, Sunderland and Bournemouth I average at between 18 to 30 shots per game, with at least 50% of shots on target and very rarely come away with more than a single goal. Now I know goalies can have freak days or teams just dont have the luck some days but having played and followed football for 25 years +, this is just plain ridiculous. I have signed better strikers, trained individually on composure and finishing etc but nothing changes. What makes matters worse is the teams i play end up with stats of, '4 shots, 2 on target, 2 goals or in my most recent game, 3 shots in total with 2 goals agaionst my 24 shots and no goals. Most of my opponents fail to reach 10 shots and a lot of them are around 5 or 6. Is it me? Is it the attackers? I would really appreciate any advice, Thanks. yo_diamond Posted April 18, 2013 Share Posted April 18, 2013 It's frustrating to hear but you just need strikers who are going to convert those chances - you also need players who can convert the type of chances your team makes. So make sure if you getting in behind that you have a deadly finisher. if chances coming from crosses then you need strength and power. Is difficult without seeing your setup, but another hint is maybe getting poacher so you've got a guy is always on the lookout for goals. uUsually though, it's exactly like real life - you just need someone who converts! fuhrerul Posted April 19, 2013 Share Posted April 19, 2013 do the shots come from your strikers or other players who are not so good at finishing? did u try to make them learn some ppm like place shoots or shoot with power if the shots are from inside the box? also maybe your strikers are suffering from a goal drought so set up a friendly with a very weak team to get them scoring again Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
