GoonerMan
I'm starting a new career with Dunfermline (Scottish First Division) and tipped to go up and the chairman tells me I should get promoted first time of asking. Anyway, I was wondering what the best tactic and what match preparation I should use. For the favorites, I don't have a very good defense compared to the other teams but my attack is relatively good. The team has an average age of about 24 and are in a poor financial situation. A tactic I am thinking is a 4-4-1-1 control with a deep laying defense. Anyone have any better ideas? If you need more info just tell me.
GoonerMan
i'd suggest completely different approach if your defense is worst part of the team two things are sure: 1. youre bound to leak some goals 2. you will have to attack as that is best part of your team so, why not go high tempo, high pressing, direct, attacking football with more strikers instead of deep lying defence that is inviting opposition on them? you didn't say anything about the midfield so, just guessing here. Midfield is aged between 20-26 and has good teamwork and work rate between them. Passing attribute are all around 12 (center mids) but wingers are reasonably well. 3 center mids: 2 deep lying midfielders and a defending center midfielder.
