Nik_Dut
It would be nice to see physios, scouts, coaches, players have sons and introduced them to junior team of the club they serving.
stevie_G_32201
Not seen it happen, but if it does it would probably be a very rare occurance so i wouldn't count on it.

Herbert Fandel
in all honesty who cares? The OP presumably, what a stupid comment. Of course its not important, but then what in FM actually, in all honesty, is? OP I haven't seen it myself, but I guess that doesn't mean it doesn't. I have something in the back of my mind saying someone on here a while ago found a brother for a in-game player, but I can't remember if they were just assuming based on the name or not. dafuge
I've had a coach have a son come through my youth ranks before, can't remember which version though.
Nik_Dut
Maybe it's not common due to potential copyright?
stevie_G_32201
Maybe it's not common due to potential copyright? What kind of potential copyright? how often do you see it in real life? that's why i think it's not that common.
easternhawk2
I had Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain have a brother come through my youth ranks this year. Had a fairly good potential as well I think.
Random-86
A couple of FMs ago I had an AI controlled manager get a "regen-son."
Nik_Dut
So, other than human manager, AI can have sons too. Nice to know this. Thanks.
soccer.joel
I heard once of someone saying SAF had a regen son in their game
Tastudark
On an FM2007 save I found a regen called Bobby Charlton Jr. and had Bobby Charlton in his favoured personnel. Sounds made up but i swear on my life its true!
theorganist
Would it really be that unusual?! Quite a few managers/coaches have relatives in the game.Steve/Alex Bruce, Frank and Frank Lampard, SAF/Darren Ferguson, Gordon/Gavin (IIRC) Strachan, Brian/Nigel Clough. I am sure there may be more but can't think of any offhand! Sure it may be not be an everyday occurance but it is certainly not unusual. I think it adds a bit to the realism of the game particularly when you get to a point where you may be twenty seasons in the game and many "real life" personnel have long since disappeared. Peter. Peter. Ian Moore/Ronnie Moore, Jordi Cruyff/Johan Cruyff, Thomas Ince/Paul Ince, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain/Mark Chamberlain, Jamie Redknapp/Harry Redknapp. And that is just a few more off the top of my head. I'd say there are far more IRL than happens in FM.

I'd say there are far more IRL than happens in FM. Go down the lower leagues and it's even more prevalent. Right now at Gillingham we have Joe Martin, son of Alvin, Josh Hare, son of coach Darren, Jake Hessenthaler, son of DoF Andy, Charlie Allen, son of Mad Dog Martin, and Sam Muggleton, son of GK coach Carl. We previously had Charlie Stimson, son of ex-boss Mark.
TerminalPortugal
Yeah interesting one this. I noticed yesterday in my PSV game that one of my strikers who is regen has a favoured personnel of a person whom is retired but has the same surname, so I was assuming since the surname is not common that they were related to one another. nyandoro
I had brothers in-game too. I think the age difference was about 1 year. They were at the same U19 club and had each other as favored personnel. About sons, I think it might happen, but with regen staff only.
RonnyDonny
I've seen it happen with real managers as well.
