Puni
Why would you wait until he learned the position, if he's going to be playing it anyway?

RTHerringbone
Player already play in that position ... but is good .. not "natural" ... i have to choose training ... new positon or tactic role ? Just do both at the same time?! Even if the role isn't available to select, just train individual attributes relevant for the role until it can be selected. amor
Ok I know ... but the problem is when i choose both training is hard and player have injury ... so i think to choose one only ... Generally i think right thing is start whit "new position" and after "tactic role" ... but i don't know if FM 2013 think the same thing ... ricicles
I think i understand what you mean... I generally use tactical role set to low and positional training. I Tend to use 40% (occasionally 50% if im in a lower league) match prep and general/balanced team training. I set individual training to medium on players who aren't learning a new position or ppm. If they are learning either i drop individual to low. I rarely if ever get players complaining (if i do have an individual complain about training intensity I either sell them as they have hidden stats I don't like or if they are young enough & worth the effort i will arrange tutoring) This set up I find gives the best balance of development and fitness for my first team. I do things differently with my reserves and youth teams. (Individual attributes for both as I try to keep my reserves to younger players or first teamers looking for fitness, although I keep the intensity settings as above, particularly if I have players studying positions or ppms) Hope this helps
amor
Thank you .. but my problem is when i set both position and tactic role my player injury because work is very hard ... whit low tactic role and medium general too ... so i think to set 1 only individual training.. my specific situation is about a 29 age defender right ... him is good in this position but not "Natural" (he is natural in full back)... so i have to choose if i have set new position hoping become natural in defender right too or if FM think is better set tactic role to this player that is not natural but only good in this position (2° level)..
