sishuttleworth
Hi all Apologies if this is covered somewhere else. I have a problem at the moment with one of my players. He wants a new contract, but when I try to offer him one, he won't enter in negotiations! He's now agitating for a transfer because I won't give him a new deal! Any help much appreciated. Cheers SS
podunkboy
have you checked his personal profile to see what his attitude is towards you? Have you tried a private chat or comment to the press something positive? If he's clamoring for a new contract but won't talk to you, it might be a bug. Or you could set your assman to handle contract renewals. I have a 15-year-old who's being heavily pursued, keeps complaining every 6 months that he wants to play for a bigger club, even though I just got us promoted and promised another promotion within 2 years. His agent (what kind of 15-year-old needs an agent?) just came knocking around for a better contract, I just threw a stack of cash and a 3-year contract at him. I expect to hear from them again within a year for more money.

podunkboy
maybe say to him if he dosnt agree to a new deal you may half to transfer list him always great when they demand to be transfer-listed, you set their asking price to $0, they get NO interest from other clubs, and then they come back and ask to be de-listed after the club starts doing better without them on the field.
