dannyfc
I'm having difficulty implementing a counter attacking 4-3-3, with the focus on quick interplay between three attacking forwards. This is the concept I've been attempting to replicate; I want a deep-set backline that absorbs pressure, freeing up space for the front 3 to work in. Once possession is reclaimed, I want to capitalise on this space with the two IFs, looking to feed the TM or create chances for themselves. Here are the strategies I've used; Problems Despite success (currently 2nd), the team are currently nowhere near replicating this. The right IF becomes completely isolated for large parts of the game, refusing to drift into space available to the left in front of the defence. dannyfc
I've tinkered between IF attack, IF support and APa. IF attack actually worsened the issue, as the player was just on the shoulder of the opposing full-back the entire game.
