Nik_Dut
I know that as manager we can set the throw ins to quick, long or goal kicks to defender collect. But seriously SI, unless the player has hidden "idiocy" stat, they really should not just throw the ball to opposition, or goalie pass the ball to opponent players; disregarding whatever instruction given to them for goal kicks or throw ins. At least make the commentary comment about those stupid act and balance the rating accordingly. It's just happened way to often, AI or human teams. OxfordUnitedFC
Had a throw in about 10 yards up from the corner flag yesterday and my player just launched the throw straight out for a goal kick. Like you say, i shouldn't have to tell him he shouldn't be doing that.
Puni
Those are mostly fair play throw in situations. The opponent has put the ball out of play and your player is returning it. However, I too feel it should be handled differently because there tends to be a problem with the opponent taking advantage of that situation. The error i posted certainly wasn't a fair play situation. Sometime it is of course but i see many throw ins thrown straight to the opposition that aren't for fair play.
