Just came back to the game and having some problems.

I'm having problems around knowing what to do concerning a few selections.

1. I have an alternative tactic which I like to use in away fixtures. Every time I select it at the team selection screen having changed my team and select continue to the match it auto defaults back to my original tactic.

2. So I try and change it at the final stage before the match actually starts and it's successful. Then when I finally click to start the match it defaults back once again to the main tactic.

On top of this, every time I click pause ( when the match has started using the wrong tactic ), and I then change to the tactic I want, the game defaults to full highlights even though I have it set to key only. So I change it back to key only and it continues to show the highlights in full. I lost the will to live and cancelled all changes so it reverted back to the unwanted formation and key highlights only. I lost the game and have absolutely no idea how to faff around with the settings.

I seriously find the whole GUI very difficult to understand. I've only been away for a month and I'm pretty sure the way I'm playing and asking the GUI is exactly how I used to do it. Very frustrating. Anyone offer me any suggestions as to what I'm doing wrong.

I have no idea what's causing your problems, other than you might need to press the "play" button on the tactic instead of just selecting it. Don't know if that's whan you have been doing. Otherwise you could try to go into the game preferences and revert back to the default settings. Worth a try if you can't figure it out.
