weiner Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Yes. The raging bull is me. Why? Because I don't get this latest patch to work at all. Well, I got it to work, but it's not working with me. Keep reading... Well. I've been playing the CM/FM-series since CM 01/02 up to FM13 and since the latest patch nothing seems to be working at all. It doesn't matter if I play with my local Swedish team AIK, some Slovenian team called Zliina, Dortmund in Germany, Tottenham in England or even Barcelona in Spain. Of course I get a little better results with the better teams like Tottenham, Dortmund and Barcelona, but still nothing seems to be working at all - and you should be able smaller teams than just pick Barcelona to get some success. It doesn't matter if choose to play counter-attack-style, attacking-style or even possession-style - nothing is working at all. Sure, most of the games I play tends to be in my favor, I got the most possession, I got most shots and the most of the views during the games is when I'm attacking. It doesn't matter if I got 3-4 defensive players around their striker, he's most likely going to turn the ball in the net. The opponents are always scoring on corners as well. Right now, I'm in the state of being able to smash my monitor until the pieces turns into atoms - honestly, this game is tearing me apart as it is right now. It doesn't matter if I download tactics or if I'm creating my own ones, it's always the same. It's like i've bought a bugged copy of FM13. Well, that was my complaining and my pitch, now it's time for some therapy and help. Help me out of this state that I'm currently in. As I said, I've tried different teams, I've tried different tactics and I feel like I've tested everything. All kind of formations, all kind of match preparation, all kind of balances of the mentality, all kind of closing downs. The AI is so extremly effectiv because they're scoring almost all the times they're attacking. Me, on the other hand, is not scoring at all. When you look at my statistics it could look like I shoot alot of long shots, but the fact is that I have all my players on "longshots - rarely". As I said I've been playing this game since CM01/02 but I'm out of own thoughts right now. Are you in the same mode? Have you been in the same mode? If yes, how did you solve it? I know I have to get the basics in some kind of way, but I'm getting so tired of even trying. This is an example of how it usually looks like. This game ended 5-3 to Zwolle. Welshace Posted May 11, 2013 Share Posted May 11, 2013 Looking at merely the screenies you've given us, it looks as though you are having plenty of shots but almost exclusively from range etc... You should just find out which area's of the pitch are congested and where you seem to be losing the ball.. It's usually a case of your strikers being isolated up front and not having support so long shots are the only option. But as I say, that's only going by the few shots you've given us.
