Zeonflux
Just wondering which is more successful for people? Crosses to the near post or crosses to the far post, this is for both corners and open play
Thomaz
For open play I have a winger who 'arrives late in box' and this works out perfectly for crosses to the back post from the opposite side. My other winger hasn't got that PPM but still gets on the end of them now and then. I tend to play my more advanced forward toward the far post as well but depends on height/off the ball if they're not the tallest. I have never really used cross to near-post I find it never beats the first man, but that's just me and probably something to do with my wide men they're decent crossers with decent ball control. Corners I tend to just deliver to near post someone will flick on toward back post or head in the net.
