Linking Team Strengths to Tactics

Recommended Posts

I am struggling to get decent results with Berwick Rangers and am wondering what he best tactics are.

Depending on the players available I tend to go for a 5-3-2 or 4-4-2 formation.

I am uncertain of the difference between style and roaming could someone explain?

My defence are quick but not very physical (good pace and acceleration, poor strength, heading and Jumping) how does this link in with marking strategy?

My thoughts are that this should work with a counter attack and pressing, though I am concerned the later might cause problems with my midfielders lack of stamina.

I am not scoring many goals (about 1 per game) my strikers are having about 1 shot in 3 on target and 1 in 3 of those results in a goal. If I try a more attacking strategy I don't appear to score many more goals I just let in a lot more :-(

Any advice on how to improve would be very welcome.
