This is a story based on my save from FM12 which I recently found again and decided to base a story upon.

so here goes...

Jack Price, The man of many dreams, some realistic, others not so much but the one thing that is the same throughout all of them is football.

Jack had worked hard as a child both academically and in football, his teachers said that he had the right foot of Beckham his Friends used to stand in awe at the sheer talent this boy possessed but his parents, they were different they wanted him to follow in his family's footsteps and become a chef, they wanted him to take over the shabby looking restaurant and turn it into a Michelin star holder , But he was resilient every morning he would go out and play football until sunset.

He wanted this, he wanted this bad.

he joined a local football team and before he knew it the top goal scorer award was his after banging in 42 in 38 games and after this he vowed to score 50 next year...

The 1st game of the season and his boss was trying out a new formation with 1 up front, this man was Jack price his flair came out on top at first but then. Black.

He couldn't see but he could feel the agony which was rolling up his leg he just laid there and when he next could see he was in a hospital. The delight on his parents faces as he half opened his eyes. They rubbed his head and spoke to him "You're alive we've been so worried you were in a coma for 4 weeks." He asked why to which they replied "A bad tackle. He slid in from behind and you hit your head against the goalpost it was harder than expected. We've got some bad news your legs snapped in 3 places and you won't be able to play football again you might not even be able to walk again".

Tears rolled his and his mothers cheeks and you could see his heart sinking inside him...

10 Years later

Jack was 25 now and God had watched over him as only 6 months after the accident he could walk again but only just...He never did play football again he took over the restaurant and it slowly got drove into the ground. He felt the dole would be the extent of his life. Until he realised that if as a player his tactics were good, why not as a manager...That's when he went to get his coaching badges...

26 years old, on the doll and suffering from panic attacks, he knew he had to get a job he began applying for normal jobs instead of his usual management applications, he tried becoming a joiner and a shop assistant but no luck came of it he was worried and knew he needed some luck.

2 weeks later

Jack was sat at his table staring into the abyss which was his house, when the phone rang it was his mother she told him that his father had just died, this sucked out everything that was left of him as he began to cry, his face numb and his heart and mind dead he just sat there no idea what would happen next...
