anthony
was wondering if you could have one successful tactic and one successful strategy do you need to have a few of them
RocheBag
My last save I used the same tactic every single game for 15 years and was very successful. It was a fluid, standard, 4-2-2-2 box. My current save I have 3 tactics that I chose between based on opposition. So I guess you can have success either way.

Bluebird123
For me personally. I find that over time, if you're successful, the opponent will adapt to your tactic, so I have to change something.

Its all about how balanced/flexible the 1 tactic is in my opinion.
RocheBag
did you ever tweak your same tactic that you used Nope. It was always a fluid, standard, 4-2-2-2 with 2 DM and 2 CM. Every single game whether it was and Icelandic team in the league or man u in the champions league

MichaelBrown
You can, although the AI in this years version are becoming aware of tactics. As such, I have three and I still tweak those depending on opposition.

Football Manager.
Cleon says no but i have i use the same tactic shouts every game at the moment because i'm trying to play a certain way, i do have a plan b if i need a goal i switch from very fluid to balanced, control to attack, and take retain posession off but still everything remains the same and i've done quite well with it. In general the opinion is no but there are always results that come back against the status quo, maybe my tactic is just special and i'm the special one. RocheBag
did you ever change your players roles about I'd change my DLP - D to an anchor man if I brought on someone who wasn't creative
MichaelBrown
what parts of your tactic do you tweak It depends on the opposition. Formation, player instructions, the players themselves if that counts, team instructions.
tajj 7
I always use pretty much the same shape tactic, and only really change roles if a different type of player comes in. I use the shouts to alter it depending against different teams.

Will you stop saying I say things when I haven't, it's becoming really annoying now please. This is like the 4th time in about a week I've seen posts by you saying I've said something when I haven't. For those who have actually read any of my threads (It's very clear you haven't) then they'll see I play the same way 90% of the time and only do minimal changes during a game if needs be. As is clearly highlighted in the Chalkboard Diaries
