Stay or go?

So, after 10 years in club management I was offered the Spain job. Hadn't done international job in FM13 so gave it a go. Quickly got bored and was far more concerned about club matters. As champions Spain didn't have to qualify for Euro 2024. After a few friendlies I was seriously tempted to quit, but changed my mind when I found Spain were not only champions, but hosts too.

I didn't really bother with the friendlies - only arranged a few and let my assistant take them, employing my club tactics and shoe-horning my international players in. Got to the Quarter finals before a player I raised and still manage at club level scored the goal to knock me out for France. I resigned immediately as Spain boss.

Spain moved quickly to appoint the then England manager in my place. I applied to the now vacant England post just to see if I could get it. A week or so later in game I was indeed offered the job. Before turning it down I thought I'd have a look at the fixtures to see if there was anything that may be alright. Not having followed matters, what I found surprised me ... The next game was 3 days later, v the Germans ... in the Euro 2024 final. Now, after a 3-2 AET win (with Butland saving a 120th minute German penalty), I have won Euro 2024 with England. And I've been in the job 3 days.

It can't get any better can it? Quit now or try and win the World Cup in 2026? What would you do?

Quite ridiculous really. As if a manager would jump ship mid-tournament, especially as he’d taken his team to the Final.

Surely couldn’t be too difficult to implement a coding to make the manager take over when the tournament was over.
