I then took control of Everton about 10 seasons in ( managing both United and Everton ). Everton were in the Championship when I took over. I got them promoted in my first season and have since finished 8th, 6th, 5th, 5th, 4th and 2nd in the Premiership and also won the league cup twice, the FA cup once and the UEFA cup once. However my home attendances remain around 17-20 thousand only. I don't understand why this is? Surely after 6 seasons of being back in the Premiership my attendances should be back to normal Everton attendances, ie circa 35k? ademac Posted May 27, 2013 Author Share Posted May 27, 2013 Not every game is a sellout but the average attendance each year is usually around 34k. It's certainly not 17-20 thousand. Checked on football genie and that says average attendance is 18k, and the FM editor says 36k. I know they dropped a division but its been 6 seasons back in the premiership now.
