Playing from 2 different machines

Yes - in "your name" > "My Documents" > "Sport Interactive" > "Football Manager 2013" > "games" ( I think) you will find your save files.

You can just copy this file form your PC and put it into the same place on your laptop once you have installed FM there too. Doesn't need to be the same log-in (although of course you will still need to have purchased FM) meaning you can send saves between friends etc also.

Just re-reading the OP, I assume you haven't deleted it from your PC right? just the way you wrote 'get to' made me worry you meant was it stored on a network somewhere? Because unfortuntately it isnt

If it is still on your PC, then it is very simple to move to laptop

A better way to do it is to sign up with dropbox, and make your SI games folder in my documents your shared folder. Install it on both machines, and as long as they are online any changes on one machine in that folder will be shared with the other. The end result is that your tactics and saves are copied to both machines and kept up to date. It's also a backup, and allows you to revert to older versions too!
