Codename47
Please see link here: Assistant Manager Team Talk advice clearly shows that 'we are underdogs'. Now, please see link here: Clearly shows that we are infact favourites, albeit slight. Now, is this a known bug? The problem is, how do I know what the AI is set at i.e. underdog or favourite, this is vital. How do I therefore gauge my Team Talk appropriately, because as it stands, the TT options available to me appears to reflect that I am the underdog? Thanks. Herbert Fandel
I think SI tried to explain this before as saying that bookies and the ass man could have different interpretations, especially in light of ass-man stats etc.

Herbert Fandel
I don't have a link and only remember it vaguely, and certainly didn't mean to imply that SI's comments should necessarily be the end of the discussion
dafuge
You've also got the media pundit who fancies the draw, just goes to show what a close match it should be. 6/4 and 13/8 are very close, there's not a lot in that at all.
m_fenton
I think the three sources of information you have there (Assistant Manger, Bookies and Media) give you a perfect idea of who's clear favorite or underdog - neither! I don't know which source of information is rated highest by each, but I'd think it's something like: Media - mainly go by reputation, with some importance given to form. Bookies - form and CA of players involved, little regard for reputation. Assistant Manager - CA of players involved, their personalities, also some weighting for form/reputation. This may not be completely correct, but it's how I think of it.
