What spec is your machine for FM2013?

Recommended Posts

I've got a new laptop that just can't cope with FM, even when I close all other apps. It's an HP machine with 8GB and a 1.9 ghz processor. It cost me £500 and I can't even play FM. It's seriously doing my head in. The fan goes into overdrive and sometimes the laptop just dies. I'm thinking about buying a Lenovo because my last one worked like a dream when I was running FM 2012.

i5 2k @ 2.4 , 8GB RAM.

Cost me under £350 over 18 months ago and runs FM a dream. Was a good buy!

6GB RAM or more and an i5 series processor (@ decent speed) gives you more than enough to run FM well using onboard graphics. The newer i5s will be even better I bet!

Intel core i7 2600 3.4ghz quad core with hyperthreading

8gb ram

GeForce 550ti 1gb gfx card

Was an end of the line model and was therefore on sale, probably more suited to video editing than gaming, but plays games like a treat :)

You got screwed. £500 for a laptop with a 1.9GHz processor is as overpriced as paying £60 to see a Chelsea match. I suspect it to be an ultrabook though? These are all overpriced anyway.

Just took out a random UK website because I don't live there, so unfamiliar with any shops there, but take a look at these for instance:

http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Lenovo_Z580_1336871.html (available in multiple colors)

http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Lenovo_Z580_1336874.html (same one, just more focused on graphics and slightly less on processor power, depends on what you prefer)

http://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/Acer_Aspire_V3-771G_1303142.html

-------------------

For my own specs; Intel i7-960 @ 3.2GHz, 6GB DDR3-1600, Palit GeForce GTX670 (2GB).

Just need a little extra RAM :D

A notebook with sequintes settings:

Asus N46VM-V3081H, 3rd generation Intel Core i7-3610QM, 8GB Memory, 1TB HD, Video Card: NVIDIA ® GeForce ® GT 630M - 2GB DDR3 (Dedicated)

Does the wheel fm 13 14 good?

I play with 55 thousand players loaded, will this configuration with the days went well?

Ps: one thing I searched the net and did not think it was the recommended configuration pro our dear FM

Thanks for the advice. Just got a new machine...

Lenovo ThinkPad X201 12.1" 320 GB, Intel Core i7, 2.66 GHz, 8 GB

It's got good reviews for performance and a powerful processor so hopefully this time next week I'll be able to enjoy FM without my laptop near exploding

Friends, the normal processing delay in the passing of the day is more or less how many seconds?

And from what I saw in the specification of minimum requirements for fm 13, has to be 2.2 ghz or higher, this would be a single core? For what vision Compraré a quad core, soon to be 4 x 2.3 ghz right? And will the fm 14 will be much heavier than the 13?

OcUK Limited Edition P170EM

17.3" LED Full HD

I7-3630QM Quad 2.4GHZ

16GB DDR3

250GB SSD + 1 TM SATA HDD

ATI HD 7970M 2GB GDDR5 Graphics Card[/h]£1200

Runs every league with large DB like a dream (you get what you pay for)

And no, this bad boy aint just for FM ;). Note for OP , I work for HP and trust me.. the Laptops are mainly built for business use and are seriously overpriced (In fact MOST OEM laptops are pants, go custom )

Dont want to rub salt in your wounds but for £500 you could have got a decent rig from pcspecialist or overclockers uk for £500, example:

Genesis IV - 15.6"

I5-3230M Dual 2.6mhz

Nvidia GT635M

120GB SSD

8GB Ram

Would run Fm13 nicely...

Well my HP laptop cost £400 and runs FM 13 super fast, has an i5 processor with turbo boost, 8GB Ram and all that lark. When looking for a good spec laptop at a cheap price, it prob helps having an IT Tech in the family to help out :)

Funnily enough, it's about the same spec as that one you talk about for £500, yet it's HP who you work for and 100 cheaper!
