soccer.joel
My training isn't to intense and my players aren't overly injury prone yet I get lots of training injuries especially hernia's. All my training sections are at least 3.5 stars. I'm wondering if there is a way to reduce certain injuries?
Domus Clamantium
You could try: Reduce training intensity especially during weeks containing 2+ matches Hire better fitness coaches and physios Hire additional fitness coaches and physios Reduce training workload Increase professionalism, ambition and determination of players through tutoring Sell players who have poor professionalism/ambition/determination/work rate Sell players whose bravery is very high, particularly if they have poor personalities Not only does high professionalism and ambition increase the rate of progression in training, it also leads to better performances on the pitch and less injuries (except if they have poor pressure, composure and/or important matches). If you don't believe me I recommend playing around with an editor and changing all player personalities to model professional unflappable (everything 20 except controversy, which is set at 1) and comparing results of a season with those of an unedited season. lemeures
Physios don't reduce injuries, as far as I know they only treat them Professionalism, ambition and determination don't reduce injuries, as far as I know Bravery doesn't increase serious injuries, at a push it increases getting little knocks Important matches in no way effects injuries Sports hernias tend to happen to my team at the start of a season, suggesting it is due to physical training for too long. Look at the kind of training they are doing, not just how much

Hernias sound like over-exertion. If you are also getting strains etc, then you are pushing them too hard/not giving them enough recovery

lemeures
What is your keepers training? themadsheep is right I think, playing style etc obviously effects injuries. A player will get injured chasing balls and making last ditch tackles easier than a controlled style of play regardless of fitness

rich_barnes
When do you get the injuries? I am usually fine with injuries until January and February and then I seem to get half my team out injured. I wonder if the weather plays a part.

I am usually fine with injuries until January and February and then I seem to get half my team out injured. I wonder if the weather plays a part. It's currently March. I had the worst periods in december, January and early feb where I had about 6-7 first teamers (including 4-5 regular starters). But I've had at least 3 first teamers out all year (usually more). And I play in Spain so weather is pretty good

When you set training for players and you look at their individual training screen it says workload Very Heavy, Heavy, Medium, Low or Very Low.... This is bugged, it says the wrong thing when you set training and doesn't show the correct workload until a few days after you set the training. Don't know if you knew this but I would check individual training to see what it says.
