Sound Packs

Here is one I threw together, it's not perfect but it's much more realisitc than the default sounds: http://www.gamefront.com/files/23538470/FM13+Soundpack.rar

First of all, backup the 'events' and 'sounds' folder from

Steam/SteamApps/Common/Football Manager 2013/data

incase anything goes wrong with the soundpack, you will still have your original files. (although I've been using the soundpack for months now and not had a single problem)

Then delete the 'events' and 'sounds' folders, and then place the downloaded 'events' & 'sounds' folders in there (Steam/SteamApps/Common/Football Manager 2013/data)

Here is an alternate link: http://www.filedropper.com/fm13soundpack

I couldn't use zippyshare, as the file size was over 200mb.

Giving this a go as well, although i dont have any problems with gamefront, what kind of soundchanges are there barkermush?

Just the general sounds have been changed to more realistic sounds.. plus I've added the team/player chants from my old Soundpacks. (which play on rare occassions when a team gets a corner, or after a player has scored)

works fine for me no errors,i thought it was the older version but was surprised when i heard the new stadium anouncer much more realistic, nice work Barkermush :0)

@ PequenoGenio try just copying the match sounds file over to events folder and leave the original events file where it is instead of coping both match sound and events files from the downloaded pack

replacing the events file was a problem in the previous version of this sound pack which caused errors,so just copy the match sounds over to events folder and copy sounds folder over to sounds(backup original files first though)

the events file just controls the commentary text at the bottom of the screen,i use a seperate downloaded commentary pack combined with this sound pack and works great together http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php/289325-FM-Commentary-Pack-

I'm not sure why you are getting any errors..

Did you delete the original 'Events' folder first, and then copy the downloaded 'Events' folder?
