andyt365
I noticed that when I have more transfer money the prices I get quoted are ridiculous. Does the AI know if you have sold lots of players and flush with cash?
Guest
To an extnet they do but is that any different to how things operate in the real world? If a club has money to spend then it is generally a widely known fact & it's always been the case that the richest clubs pay a premium when buying players. SCIAG
I noticed that when I have more transfer money the prices I get quoted are ridiculous. Does the AI know if you have sold lots of players and flush with cash? Not as such. Explanation spoilered because it discusses game mechanics- highlight to read! Each player has a "sale value" set by the game at which clubs will accept an offer. If you go in softly, then this value is liable to going up. That is particularly the case if other clubs are injured. The reputation of interested clubs also has an impact, and as rich clubs tend to have high reputations... But the AI managers have no idea about your transfer budget
keitholi
I always make my second offer lower than my original offer. It will sometimes make them hit the panic button and come down in price. It will also sometimes blow up in your face and make them immediately walk away, so be careful.
