board unhappy about not signing high profile players?

Recommended Posts

I'm managing Torino, team reputation is National. The board wanted me to sign high profile players when I renewed my contract, and I agree.

After this request, I tried to bring a mix of players. Some old player with lots of caps (like Beckham), some young players with U20 past (Battocchio or Forestieri) and Some players with Continental reputation (Ziegler and Mitroglou)

Except for Beckham, the other players are in my starting eleven, almost every match. Nevertheless, I continue receiving the complains from the boards, about the high profile players, which I really don't understand why. They gave me 30m for transfers and I tried to spend it as wisely as possible.

Any clues?

Except for Beckham, the other players are in my starting eleven, and performing quite well. I think the highest salary is 2m per year.

The reputation of the players is Continental, except for the Battochio and Forestieri, that I thunk is National.

I guess I'll just need to sit and wait a couple of months until the board realize I did bring high profile players. I'm almost in December 2014, so I've 1 month 'till the winter transfer window opens.

With 30m it's difficult to reinforce the team with continental players.

I also brought in loan Giroud, from Arsenal, and this was the worst signing ever in my whole FM carrer, thanks god I didn't spend 15m in him, like Arsenal wanted.
