Match Engine Problems that I've Seen

Stuff that happens too often for it to be realistic:

1. Heading the ball upwards instead of downwards

2. Clearing to the middle of the pitch

3. Long shots that end up as throw-ins

4. Defenders conceding corners when under no pressure

5. General lack of off-ball movement and attacking dribbles at defenders (which is why formations like a flat midfield 4-5-1 work when they shouldn't)

6. Players settling for long shots

7. Ball leaving player's foot like it's shot out of a cannon

etc...

Also, people who have a placed shot preferred move shooting with their laces at full force.

Players playing the ball backwards on the counter instead of trying a through ball (which in my opinion are way under-powered now)

Are you just going to add post after post like this? These sort of things, if they haven't been discussed to death already, should be mentioned in the FM14 thread, or in the bugs forum.
