hashassin
Does the position in world ranking influence quality of regens in the country? If i have 4th place, will regens during this period be better than they would be if i was 20th? I'm asking because i dont know whether to stick to one team and patiently build their glory, or just go and manage better national team. I dont think i will be able to do any better in near future with this squad, than 3rd in World Cup that i already managed to get, and im guessing that when my current players retires (especially Lewandowski) i might not have quality replacements in the years to come. When i played my other long term save, Poland never got anywhere near top 20 in rankings, and when regens came to the team, they were much worse than retired players. olivermain83
I don't know for sure but I imagine that it's the quality of the youth systems at the Polish clubs that will determine the quality of the regens.
hashassin
well of course, that is the main reason. Im justt wondering if the national team results will have ANY influence. For example, high position in ranking - more interest in football from people, more popular thus more parents will sign their kids for trainings thus bigger chance of getting better players
hashassin
anyone else know anything about this?
The Governator
Unfortunately, the assigned youth rating given to each country is fixed, so the odds of having a great polish team are the same no matter what you do. This is something that should probably be changed because it logically should happen.
jayahr
There is a youth rating for each country which is fixed in the editor. AFAIK this is the only determinate for youth quality from a country.

hashassin
ok, i'm gonna stay, cause in five years time when lewandowski retires i should have this guy ready to fill in for him anyway thanks for the answers guys!
KevMaaan
If the youth rating WASNT fixed, then i would think national team ranking would only matter with players with a dual nationality, but since it is, then it wont
podunkboy
darn, I've pulled Senegal up from 43rd to 11th in the world rankings pre-World Cup '22, but evidently this doesn't mean a hot prospects payout in 4 years. Guess I'll just have to win it all THIS year.
Diablito
Just a warning to anyone raising the numbers on the countries youth rating, you'll end up with way too many Messi like players which makes the game too unrealistic.
