Nottingham Forest
Aim of the save The aim of the save to see how successful it is whilst having no control on what staff, players and other factors that happen to the club. Now I've figured that for this to work, and so that I don't get a bloated squad. I will be allowed to transfer and loan list players. But then it's up to Karl Oyston(chairman) to decide what to do with them. I have also decided that I will be allowed to ask for improvements to the club as well. I'm not sure why I chose Blackpool to be honest. I suppose it would be a nice challenge to try and make them a good Premier League side. Now as you can see, here is the staff responsibilities screenshot. The only other part cut out is who deals with my youth development side of the club and that is whoever deals with under 18s. Nottingham Forest
Pre-Season 2012 With my first pre-season now completed as Blackpool boss. We can now look at what changes have occurred at the club and how I feel about the upcoming season. Club Improvements Club Stuff Transfers We have also loaned quite a lot of youngsters out. We also failed in bids for Gary McSheffrey and Enar Jaager. Contract Renewals & Rejections Alex John Baptiste, Craig Cathcart, Stephen Crainey, Ian Evatt, Bob Harris and Tom Ince have all signed new deals. Whilst Angel, Chris Basham and Matt Phillips have all rejected new deals. We're currently about £7k over our wage budget and that's with me moving all my transfer funds to wages. We're spending about £185k a week. We also have about 13 first team squad members out of contract in the summer. Staff Incomings & Outgoings Alan Robertson(HoYD), Frank Nuttall(Fitness), Steve Kean(Coach), Steve Black(Fitness) and Stewart Henderson(Coach) have all rejected the opportunity to join the club. However, Ade Mafe(Fitness), Brian Kerr(DoF), Dave Robertson(HoYD), Neil Bailey(Coach) and Steve Kelly(Scout) have all joined my backroom staff. This will mean that now we have a Brian Kerr at the club as Director of Football, that he will start dealing with certain areas of the club. Pre-Season Fixtures Not the best of pre-seasons. But I put that down to the players learning how I would like them to play and me focusing more on the fitness side of things so far.

Nottingham Forest
Cheers guys. I don't, but nor do I want to find out either. That adds to even more of the challenge.

Nottingham Forest
My current job is very insecure . I have asked for more time so hopefully the board will allow me to try and turn things round.
Nottingham Forest
Is the chairman trying to either annoy me or show me what I'll be missing when he sacks me....... I am also going to add that our wage budget has slightly increased so now we have £8k in the wage budget.

Raware
Good luck NF but of all the teams...Blackpool? Our play-off victors? Why not Swansea? Or Yeovil?! Seriously though, good luck. Will be interesting to see how Oysten deals with everything.
Nottingham Forest
I am going to need some luck. Oyston is going to ruin the club.
Nottingham Forest
So this guy expressed an interest in my job whilst I am still manager. The Aberdeen fans weren't happy that he'd done that and I thought everything would be ok for the time being. But then I get this message through. This message then follows again for what seems like the millionth time.
Nottingham Forest
I have changed some of the responsibilities over again. Oyston now deals with all transfers incoming.
Nottingham Forest
So, after roughly six months in the job I have been sacked. Understandable really and I am surprised I have lasted this long. We were too inconsistent and when we got on a run, that run was soon broke and we went on a bad run. I've enjoyed my time but will look for another club who will allow me to continue this process of only controlling tactics, training and picking the squad. Fixtures & League Position I'll now be going on holiday until a club offers me a job and if it interests me enough, I shall accept it.

Generation-Next
It'd be great in real life. Nottingham Forest
January Transfer Window Three players joined the club on free transfers on deadline day and they were Loïc Fanzel, Samir Bertin d'Avesnes and Stéphane Calcé.
Nottingham Forest
Youth Intake 2013 Only two players of any potential quality have come through the youth intake this season. They are; Jim McKee Spencer Bray I will now have to wait and see whether my chairman offers any of my youngsters youth contracts.
Nottingham Forest
I am unsure as to what to do. We're close to their youth trial contracts expiring and as of yet there have been no offers. I am unsure as to whether to leave and assume that my chairman doesn't think they're good enough. Or, offer them deals because he's just being stupid and can't judge it. Infact, I will be changing the contract offers to my under 18s manager.
Nottingham Forest
Season Review 2012-2013 So having taken over AFC Wimbledon in the middle of January, my job was to ensure that we consolidated our position in League Two. I can't complain with how we have played. As we have achieved our main aim of securing safety. Which we did with a game to spare. Our fixtures from when I took over look like this; The league table saw us finish 20th. Finances - We're losing a lot of money and have lost about £400k since I took over in January. Star Man Stéphane Calcé - This guy did incredibly well from start and scored a hat-trick on his debut. He continue that scoring form and ended the season with 10 goals from 13 games. He's out of contract in a few weeks though so I am hoping my chairman will make his mind up on offering him a new deal. The two youth players left the club as no one offered them a youth contract which is a shame. But that is life and we move on. What next for me? I am out of contract in a few weeks but I am hoping the board will consider offering me a new deal so that I can try and push on next season. We do have a lot of deadwood so my chairman will be fairly busy this summer.

Nottingham Forest
Pre-season 2013-2014 With us securing our League Two future for another season and myself signing a new deal. I was optimistic about our chances of improving for this season coming and doing well. There were a lot of players who I was hoping would leave but some that I was hoping to stay. Overall though, since I've joined, including youth team players. We have had about 20 players or so leave the club. Some that I am pleased with and others that I am not. I would have liked to have kept Curtis Osano and Pim Balkestein. But when they're on £700 and £1.1k respectively and they're asked to take pay cuts of £550 and £300, they aren't going to stay. Incoming we have seen seven new players join the club. Although I am hoping for me. We have however missed out on a few good players who would have been good signings for the club. We have missed out on Ross Atkins, Elliot Benyon, Cameron Gayle and some French striker from the lower leagues in France. I suppose now though I should focus on the signings that we have made. Two were already arranged in January, one before I joined and the other after I joined. The new signings are; Aurélien Gazeau Another player from the French Revolution. We're going all Newcastley and this guy was signed on a pre-arrangement just after I joined. Another player who should provide good competition for Gray and my other left wingers. Mark Hughes Another good signing and one who should do well in League Two. Mark had a good spell at Accrington last season and will come into the side as the partner for Alan Bennett. Hughes will also take the vice captaincy as well. Rhys Taylor We were originally interested in Ross Atkins but he rejected us. So we decided to raid Macclesfield and snap up Rhys on a free. He'll act as first choice but will have some competition from our previous third choice Seb Brown. Nicholas Bignall I am delighted with this signing and I'm hoping that he can score a lot of goals in a partnership with Calce. Having joined on a free he should be a good signing. Bradley Mason The versatile player joins us from Blackburn on a free transfer. He'll be nothing more than back up but with our small squad he'll provide some use. Dan Thompson The young striker joins us from our new parent club Portsmouth on a season long loan. He won't initially be first choice but hopefully he'll score a few goals when gets some games. We also terminated our link with FC United. Julian Gray The left winger returns to England after a few seasons abroad. Despite his ageing years, he'll hopefully be a good signing and provide competition for the other four left wingers I have at the club. We've only had four pre-season games and all have gone well. I have set up for my assistant to arrange pre-season games but he only managed to arrange one this season. We managed to win 1, draw 2 and lose 1. However we played well in all four games as I have said. The media have down to finish 21st in League Two in this coming season whilst the bookies have placed us as 33-1 to get promoted. At the this present moment in time I do feel we need a few more bodies to cope with the demands of League Two football. Especially as we've lost six players already to injuries ranging from three to eight weeks on the sidelines. We have the budget in order to do so as we still have about £5.5k left in our wage budget of £20k. We also have £20k in transfers left over so hopefully my chairman can get out and about and find some more players to strengthen our squad.
Generation-Next
Four other left wingers? I'm assuming he has high interests in politics. He's definitely left-wing.
Nottingham Forest
Just a little update in regards to players who have joined us. We have had Stuart O'Keefe and Lee Collins join on 5 month loan deals whilst Liam Sercombe and Shaun Jeffers have joined on free transfers. Byron Lawrence rejected joining us on loan, Neal Trotman rejected joining us on a free whilst Anthony Walongwa rejected joining us on trial.
