hashassin
what a stupid pointless thread... Im in! I holidayed for 1st year, took over Poland (i never really got into international management so now i try) and Betis. After two years in Betis(best finish: 4th) , i moved to Juventus, where im currently 1st in table in december of my second season. As for Poland, my best result was 3rd in World Cup and now i'm preparing for Euro, after steamrolling through easy group. But i'm getting bored with calcio and i think i will try to look for something in Premier League after this season.

marceloOrigoni
I have a game splitted into 2. I was managing Torino, doing quite well. First Season: Finished 7th, coppa Italia first round. Second Season: Finished 2nd, coppa Italia Qurter Finals And here is where I splitted the game, since my favorite team offered me to manage them after Bianchi retires. I only managed like half a season in Argentina, and went back to the original save Third Season (Torino): Finished 7th, Coppa Italia Quarter Finals, UCL First knockout round (best 8?) Third Season (Boca): Finidhes 2nd (first Stage), Won Copa Sudamericana. I'm currently playing the forth season in Torino.

borobadger
Managing the Bedlington Terriers in an attempt the get the to the Premier League, although at the minute getting to the football league is proving more difficult than I thought it would have been. I've been a mid table conference side for about 4 seasons, although this season I think I have a pretty decent chance of the play offs

borobadger
Yeah he started in the league below the one I'm in currently , you need a download to play with Bedlington, I think they start at level 9. I got basically back to back promotions to get to this point but I've hit a bit of a wall, financially as well
Chalky1989
Very well, won 10 league titles and CLs with 3 different teams in 3 different countries over the past 13 seasons. Though more recently I'm kind of annoyed. My first choice CM(attacking) broke his leg and is out for 5-6 months, in October. In the same game the player I subbed on, his immediate backup, has gotten injured for 2 months.....I can just about cover the position, but I tend to operate on a 2 players for each position basis, with 1 utility DEF, MID and ATT. I'll be extremely short on options if the next one goes down. Gotten so many injuries in the last 10 games. And lots of players needing a rest. Could derail my title hopes, though I'll strengthen in Jan.
Vector
Well...I currently have 2 managers in my save: One is the main manager that is in charge of the Argentina National team and Vasco da Gama. The other manager is exclusive for the Argentina U-20 team. I first started with the NT and later got my first job at Millonarios from Colombia. I won 2 leagues, 1 local cup and a Super cup. Later I left (I never got used to the only 5 sub rule of the league) and assumed the Vasco job who where in relegation position and took them to 7th place. They had quite the money, so for the next season I brought back Helton and bought some more players and won the Carioca Championship. Oh...I brought Adriano on a free...although it wasn't the greatest of the decisions. Before the start of the league I brought Alex (from PSG) for free since the club didn't renew his contract. I'm currently tied in the 1st place with Gremio (Although they have 2 matches less...so yeah...) On the NT side. I qualified to the World Cup (In the group I had Switzerland, Costa Rica and Tunisia) and won it against....RUSSIA (I had to knock out Brazil, Italy and Spain to made it to the finals, While Russia had to go through Germany, Portugal and Switzerland) Messi won both top scorer and assist XD. Koennn
Started unemployed and took over Sheffield United who performed rather terribly in league 1. Season 1: my team started out rather unstable. I won against a few high ranked teams, only to lose against the relegation candidates. At the end of the season I had a very good run which allowed me to secure the 6th place. Season 2: bought and loaned a few players to improve the weak areas. This led to a remarkble easy season as I finished 1st 10-ish points ahead of Peterborough. Also won the Johnstone Paint's Trophy 2-1 AET from Brentford, though there were some games I should've lost TBH. Season 3: It started out pretty well in the Championship and it looked like I might have a chance at the play-offs for promotion. Halfway in the season, Spurs' manager got sacked and I applied for the job (though I didn't think I was going to get it, since big names were mentioned in the news message) but I surprisingly found a job offer in my inbox a few days later. I took over just after the january market had closed. The player material was actually rather good and without too much trouble I managed to finish 3rd and qualify for the CL while also winning the FA Cup. Season 4: Brought in a decent right winger, some defenders and a playmaker which improved my team a lot. A very exciting title race between me and Man City led to the 1st place with only 1 point difference to my advantage. Also won the Capital One Cup, but performed rubbish in the FA Cup. Also reached the Champions League semi-final but got my butt kicked by arch-rival Arsenal with 4-0 over two games... Season 5: Was looking to win the CL this season and continue my succes in the Premier League, but Bayern Münich came along and offered my a five-year contract which I accepted. First season I immediately won the treble! This season I'm looking to build on the previous successes.
Plainlayzee
Currently Tranmere, took over when they were bottom of the league with 8 defeats in 8 and out the league cup and JPT Trophy. Currently sitting 3rd after 25 games (ish), 6 points of automatic promotion. Only lost once since taking over which was away to Sheffield United. Far to many draws have stopped us properly challenging, however the last 2 weeks all of the top 6 have lost except for me so I have made good ground and I am now 12 points inside the play off places. Even if I miss automatic I should get a second shot and possible trip to Wembley. I signed Junior Agogo, FM legend for me, the guy just can't stop scoring! Maviarab.
Will join in Joined Defensa y Justicia in the Argentine second, got them promoted coming 2nd. Second season and win the Premier 'First Stage'...all going to plan. Only come 6th in the 'Final Stage' which was disappointing but managed to win the actual 'Final'. Cup runs were abysmal all round, although was happy to get past the group stage of the Libatordores. Hughton had Norwich down in 18th place in the Prem (for the second year running) and was 'insecure' at Christmas so decided to resign at the end of the season and wait for the chance to join my favourite club. Alas, he turned it around and unbelievably finished 8th by season end. By then I'd already had enough of the Argentian league so jumped ship anyway. Southamption job came up, applied (also applied at Jeju in South Korea), both were flattered by my interest but neither decided to offer me the job. Then got call from Anzi (really? Wow lol) and have accepted, just finishing pre season training with my utterly crazy transfer budget and wage structure in tact as having all that money and not being able to get anyone to move to Russia is as useful as a chocolate fireguard
SpartyOn
Started with GKS Katowice in Poland and am now in the 2024-25 season. Last season I reached the CL final, but lost to Arsenal in extra time. This year I'm hoping to get back there and win it.

podunkboy
9 years into a save, took Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic from Division 1 to the Scottish Premier League, knocked Celtic out for 1st place in my 8th year, the same year I also took the Scottish Cup and Scottish League Cup, having a bad time in the Champions (hardly fair when you get placed in the same bracket as Barcelona and Inter), and when I got bored, applied for and was given the HC of the Senegal national team. Moved them up from 39th to 15th in the world, easily qualified for the World Cup in 2022. Really loving my BRA team, we're pounding through the SPL despite constant injuries and red cards. Overmars
Had some mediocre results in all my saves up until my recent crack at managing Fulham. First season: 4th in EPL and won the FA Cup. My second season has been very successful in the Champions League so far (still alive in the quarterfinals), but I'm in the bottom half of the EPL standings. I guess I can't motivate my team to play well against Hull, Wigan, Norwich, etc.

My second season has been very successful in the Champions League so far (still alive in the quarterfinals), but I'm in the bottom half of the EPL standings. I guess I can't motivate my team to play well against Hull, Wigan, Norwich, etc. I just booted up the game, was getting ready to play a Scottish Cup game, and there's a job offer to take Fulham in the EPL (currently in 16th place). Can't decide if I want to leave everything I've built for a shot in the EPL. Probably look at the team, see if it's a major rebuild first. added: only giving me $1.1 in transfer fees and the payroll's pretty maxed out. The team has my former Irish MF Cillian Kelly and my DM from Senegal, Stephane Badji, but aside from the incredible bump in salary and prestige, I don't know if it's worth the move. VonBlade
My save is going well. Too well really. 20 league titles, 19 of them consecutively, nearly as many FA/Capital One and Champions Leagues. My England side hasn't lost a match in a decade. To be honest I'm waiting for the last of my originals to retire before resigning and starting afresh in an unknown country with whatever team will have me in the hope of sparking my interest again. VonBlade
I guess I can't motivate my team to play well against Hull, Wigan, Norwich, etc. Try instead of motivating them, take their foot off the gas with a "If we play our own game, we'll win" team talk. Maybe the pressure of being favourites is what causes them to be poor against the low-midtable sides. Of course if they're actually lazy and too relaxed, then tell them you expect a win, and lambast them if it's merely 1-0 at half time. Ratchet the pressure up. Force them to understand that you expect victory in every game, then reward them when they give it. Like teaching a dog to sit
Domus Clamantium
Managing Gillingham. Won league 2 in first season, 2nd in league 1 next season Won championship season after Finished 10th in premier league after that Finished 4th in premier league after that Won premier league after that Since then, won it 3 more times, this last time i won it in the 2020/21 season unbeaten Also won world club championship once, Champions League once and FA Cup and Cap 1 cup a few times. Currently in the CL final vs Bayern Munich I've also changed my tactics every season. Currently playing a narrow 4-2-3-1. So far my favourite has been 3-4-1-2 but currently have too much talent in midfield to have anything less than 3 creative attacking mids (regens except ruben yttergard jenssen) and 2 destroyer centre mids (lars bender [better than sandro imo], lucas leiva, panagiotis tactsidis and mario bolatti, plus regens) Final goal is to win all trophies and be unbeaten in the league. This season I beat Dortumund 9-2 on aggregate in the CL in the semis, winning the first game 7-0. After that I might go and manage a newly promoted Bsq South team This is not to say that I didn't need a lot of practice getting this good at the game and did a lot worse in previous saves. EDIT: also won charity shield 3 times one thing i havent won yet is euro super cup. games played 492 games won 329 games drawn 69 games lost 94 goals for 1,148 games against 525 win percentage 66%
soccer.joel
I got Castellon from unplayable to La Liga on my Big Euro Challenge. I have been playing for 10 seasons and last season qualified for the Champions League (in 3rd place), won the Cup and was a quarter finalists in the Europa League. This season (i'm in January) i'm in a very disappointing 9th and got knocked out of the Champions League by Inter and PSG but finished ahead of Shakhtar to qualify for the Europa League. BiggusD
I holidayed 5 seasons to June 2017 and took over Oviedo in the Second Division B1 IIRC. The media thought they would end up in 8th place, so not a top team. It showed! I replaced most of the team with free players but also had some money to go shopping. I guess Oviedo isn't a very difficult challenge, but knowing that I would eventually "make it" with any club, I chose them because it would speed things up - and the 20 year new stadium limit is bugging me no end! So I won the Second Division first season, replaced most of the team again for Adelante and won that division on first attempt as well. Had like 10 losses that season, most of them away, so it was clear to me from looking at the opposition that my team was far from the strongest in the league. Sadly, that was all at my parent's place where I was visiting on holidays for a month - and I didn't bring the save with me back home. I might get someone to copy it onto a usb key and send it to me, but back home awaits a two-player online game with a friend, where we are Chelsea and Arsenal respectively, both fighting fiercely to win the league with equally world-class teams so I think that will be enough FM. Got other things to do too
