kurahashi
What exactly gives you, as a manager, that your player have relatively higher loyalty stat? I'm asking because recently my team personality has changed from Fairy Proffesional to Loyal. And indeed, quite a few players have apparently their loyalty stat increased (I know it's hidden, but I figured it out by seeing their Media Handling Style change from Media Friendly to Level Headed which MUST involve loyalty increase). Johnyfooty
If I recall correctly, loyalty is not one of the stats that increases throughoutt someone's career. Only consistency and versatility does. All the other stats can change through a personality change of a player, which is very rare, plus you will be informed about it on your news feedback. Did you do any new signings? If you did, their loyalty increased the overall average of the team so that the team personality changed.
kurahashi
Hmm, let me see. I got seven players in my squad who had changed their media handling style from media friendly to level headed (or from volatile+media friendly to volatile). True, three of them are being tutored so it might be the factor, but four of them are not. Now, I've said that such change must have loyalty increase involved. After deeper inspection of the hidden stats dependencies from char personality and their media handling style I stand corrected - it must have been one of three stats increased: either loyalty, sportsmanship or profesionalism. Seeing how my whole team personality has changed my personal bet is for loyalty though, but other possibilities do exists. Nevertheless, increase of one of these three stats must occur, so in that light your statement about them being unchangable during player career is incorrect. And the fact that I did have few new signings in the meantime might have some impact on my team personality... or not at all. Anyway, back to the topic: so what for is player's loyalty stat? How can I productively utilize it as a manager? EDIT: just checked my previous saves and the mistake was from my side. Your theory about loyalty as a constant stat during career (unless tutoring or some extraordinary events are involved) seems correct. Well, at least I have no evidence to deny it. Sorry for the mess. Johnyfooty
Tutoring increases loyalty as well if the tutor has a higher degree,so that could very much be the case. Regarding your question, not much to utilize as far as performances go. High loyalty means that the players have lower chances of asking you to move to a bigger club as you win a trophy or as soon as they get an offer made for them. It's a stat you should look for if you want to keep players for years to come, otherwise, not much use out of it.
kurahashi
Blah. A pity then. I was hoping for some discounts when negotiating new contracts maybe... Yup, apparently no luck here. Wage demands - outrageous as usual
