club and player expectations.

Recommended Posts

So I was having a think about the things the board could want for expectations, and I thought of these two:club and player expectations.

Club expectations could delve into the history of debt, it could deal with the finances, maybe to increase or retain the balance so as to keep the club on a "sound financial footing." (Could be re-named "Financial expectation")

For player expectations, maybe if the club has sold many of it's top players in the past, your expectation would be to keep key players from leaving, or sign a specific type of player, such as a team leader, or a controlling player. (Could be re-named "Transfer expectation")

Meeting these objectives would give the board more confidence in you, and could possibly lead to more transfer budget, or more leniency when talking to them. Where as, if you fail to meet the objectives, the board could block transfers(Player expectations fail), or try and sell fringe players to gain money (Club expectations fail).

These conclusions seem a little harsh, but what do you think?
