So most of the time I have like 4 attacking players wandering upfield when opponents are attacking when I really need them back helping defense. Anyone has luck doing that? deserter Posted October 19, 2013 Share Posted October 19, 2013 Regard AML/R as wide forwards and you won't have a problem (conceptually). A ML/MR is the way to go for a more balanced role where they both defend and attack naturally. Dropping just one of your wide forwards to winger position should improve your defensive play without taking out much (if any) of your counter attacking potential, considering you appear to use two strikers or something similar.
